Summary: Works fine. I use it mostly for recorded Pod talk shows. I use it days at a time and then charge it. The battery lasts an extremely long time. Fits right into my pocket. Once in a while I will hit the wrong button because it is so small, but I like it. Over all well pleased with the unit and I got it for a very good price. I use my own inexpensive headset, the one that came with it falls out of my ears.
Summary: I've always liked my Philips MP3 players.(This is my third) My first one I'm afraid I washed and dried it before is realized what happened. I bought this one to replace my 16G Ariaz which I wore out. It's not as good as my Ariaz but I'm learning to love it. I actually find them superior to my grandchildren's iPods. Philips has seemed to last longer (and is quite a bit cheaper). Looks like my cousin will be getting one for my aunt for Christmas too.
Summary: After two weeks of use this player lightly fell on my hard wood floor from my pocket. Afterwards the directional buttons no longer worked. Seriously poor quality compared to my creative zen mosaic which btw I had for 4 years, which worked fine after multiple accidental drops over the years on concrete side walks. Do not buy.
Summary: I was unable to install or use the included software, but was able to use Windows Media Player to load music and playlists on the player. The sound is much better than my Sans a Clip player was. It works well for workout music.
Summary: I've used a few different brands of inexpensive MP3 player and have to say Philips is right up there at the top. Both of the Philips models I've owned have been so easy to use, well organized, good looking, and just intuitive.
Summary: I accidentally got my previous model's circuitry wet/fried, so I had to get a new one, since music is like an addiction for me. I had checked various electronics stores (RadioShack, Walmart, Target), but they didn't have this model (which I LOVE!!!), so I turned here, to Amazon, where I found this mp3 player. I was expecting it to be identical, since the name/model is identical, but when it arrived, I was like, "Whoa! Total upgrade!
