Summary: Works fine. I use it mostly for recorded Pod talk shows. I use it days at a time and then charge it. The battery lasts an extremely long time. Fits right into my pocket. Once in a while I will hit the wrong button because it is so small, but I like it.
Summary: I was after an MP3 player with good sound quality and maximum ease of use for a non-techy friend. The Philips GoGear Vibe has plenty of storage space for her audio books, and the "Folder" mode makes it easy to listen to each track in its original order, which is pretty important if you are following...
Summary: It is small but big enough that I wont lose it easily. I dont use the phillip's program though you could, I use windows media player. I play it in my truck connected to the CD player, I can cycle through songs and albums. I also use it to work out with, I have a couple of plyalists I like to use.
Summary: I cannot comment on reliability yet as I only received this in the mail recently... This is intended to be used in a new-used-old car that contains a tape-deck, of which a tape-to-midi adapter will soon be installed.
Summary: This is my second Phillips GoGear Vibe 8GB MP3 Player and both of them work very well. I did something wrong when I got my first player and received excellent technical support from Phillips to resolve the problem.
Summary: For some reason it is hard to download songs on this device. I will send a whole album but only maybe one or a few random songs will get in and they will not be grouped with other song in album.
Summary: The good. It's a simple, basic player that does what it's supposed to. It looks good. The size is good, and it will fit easily in a shirt pocket. Compared to some other compact players (see my other reviews), this player is very reliable--it doesn't shut off mysteriously.
