not happy

Paula F McBay, Amazon
12 September 2012
  • Summary: I thought I would be able to use it just like the other one I had like it. I could not update it so I could down load audible books from audible.com. Was really disappointed. I bought a new go gear muse. I liked the way the other one worked better then the touch screne on the muse.

  • Summary: I like the products of the firm "Philips". But this model has some drawbacks: when deleting files product "hangs" and does not react to key presses until the expiration of the battery. No speakerphone. Not equipped with earphones, charger and software.

  • Summary: Today I'll spout about the Philips GoGear SA5285 (8 GB) Digital Media Player. MP3, video, photos, FM stereo radio and voice recorder all packed into a unit with a 2.8 inch screen making it easily viewable for these tired old eyes. Sounds AWESOMES with virtual EQ and Fullsound, a Philips exclusive setting for a full and LOUD music source.

a good mp3 player for the price.

  • Summary: for the price i paid, this is a decent player. plays music well. im no audiophile, but i have no problems with this mp3 player. i replaced a sansa fuze plus because i could no longer take the poorly thought out touch pad area. and the fact that it didnt have a manual lock button only made it worse. i wish some things about this could of been better but for $30 im not gonna gripe too much.

Awesome Philips GoGear SA5285

  • Summary: My 12 year old daughter has done NOTHING but nag me about some kind of music player. I finally decided to get her this one. I originally bought it from Target, but they said it would be weeks before they could deliver. I looked on EBAY and found this EXACT same one for almost 1/2 the price. What a GOD SEND. She is thrilled and really thinks she got something fantastic.

Then go to device manager find you MVP Philips device update driver install as USB Mass Storage Device. This time it will come up as a drive letter (D,E,F....).
