It did exactly what it said it does.

Amazon Customer, Amazon

  • Summary: I gave it 3 stars only because this really isn't a top of the line mp3 player. It did what it said it would do and it was very easy to load music onto. I bought it because there were features that I wasn't allowed to have where I was going and this was the only one I could find. It was OK for what I needed it for.

Phillips SA1110

Overstock

  • Summary: I personally like this little MP3 player - however the claim that this holds up to 500 songs I have not found to be true. It will hold between 250 and 300. I just purchased my second player. Both of my players were purchased used but they have worked perfectly for me. The battery life is okay but not great - just keep a stock of AAA batteries handy. The sale price on Overstock is a fair price but I think that the retail price is way over inflated.

Luckily, it ended up being FREE! (DOUBLE rebate = SCORE! ;')

  • Summary: I agree with most of the negatives/CONS posted already. (e.g. the packaging IS DECEPTIVE, i.e. it APPEARS you are getting a unit the exact size and SHAPE of a 7-stick gum pack, but it's really quite a bit thicker, and triangular in cross-section.) Also, I can see the *potential* for the USB cap to become loose-fitting, but after 24 months, mine's still snug. Knock on plastic. OTOH, karma swung my way: i.e. agreed to pay $75 (incl.

  • Summary: Great price and storage space, but no visible screen whatsoever, and volume is adjusted by holding on + or -, while only tapping or pressing either one will act as 'previous song' or 'next song.' i'd recommend paying for something that has a visible screen of some kind, and especially a volume adjuster that doesn't skip the track when you press it without holding it in.

Do Not Waste Your Money

Unhappy Mom, Amazon
11 January 2008
  • Summary: I gave this product to my 15 year old son for Christmas. Last week, he loaded his music onto it. He used it for 3 days. Yes, it goes through batteries quickly. However, the biggest problem was that on day 3, as he was putting it into his pocket, the display cracked. I was watching him and he was not being rough with it. It just cracked and can no longer be read. The menu is worthless. He was so upset. This seems to be a serious design flaw.

  • Summary: I cannot use it for longer than a half hour without having to replace the battery! There's no way to rearrange the playlist so I have to scroll through all the songs to find the one i want. The sound quality is good but it's not convenient.

Love this MP3 player!

soccerfam11, Ebay
4 June 2007
  • Summary: I really like this MP3 player because of the size, quality, price and ease of use. The only thing I don't like about it is the headphones that come with it, or should I say ear buds. I find them very uncomfortable and they don't stay in my ears very well. I purchased some softer squishy ear phones and everythiing is great now!
