Summary: I guess you can't really judge by my review because I bought one of these when they first came out, and it had SO many problems! It worked just fine for the first couple of days and I loved it! It came with like, 20 free downloads or something, but after using those up, it started going downhill. I put some albums on it, and when I would listen to them and turn the volume up, it would turn itself back down to the lowest setting and I couldn't listen to it.
Summary: This is a very attractive mp3 player and a great value. The one I received was defective. After dealing with the seller and the manufacturer, we declared it dead and returned it. Prior to it breaking, I was very pleased with its performance, sound quality and ease of use.
Summary: this has been an awesome little mp3 player. i bought it for my 9 yr old son and its simple enough he has had no trouble using it while still be sofisticated enough that I'm buying second one for me!! The only thig we have had a problem with has been the photos it says they are on the player when i connect it to the computer but wont come up on the player. I havent had a lot of time to try and fix this but I'm confident we will figure it out.
Summary: Well, I want to use this device like USB memory disk drive (G: M: etc by using file Explorer) but is not possible. Under Win2k? forget it! Under Vista? no -Philips says about this "keep using WinXP". Only works with WMP10 for syncr the music. None of my friends are using WMP!! Now the device is stilized, good design, no screensaver, the sound goes some low-volume. I cant found a function to advance fast or jump/tab into a large mp3 track.
Summary: Good product. I think it's a much better buy than the IPod, because these competeing products do a lot to make up for the fact that they aren't mac. It is strong built, more capacity for the price, really easy to use. Perfect for anyone who wants an MP3 and not just an "IPod".
Summary: I bought this player almost a year ago. I used it mainly for gym use. About a month or two ago, I noticed it just shutting off for no reason. I then relized that everytime I tapped the top of the mp3 player, its shut off. It has gotten so bad that I cant even use it at the gym unless I move VERY SLOWLY! so it doesnt aggrivate it and shuts off...VERY FRUSTRATING!
Summary: I was looking for a mp3 player to bring to my desk for work, listen to in the car and something I could use while I was on the treadmill at the gym. This mp3 player is perfect for my needs. I really didn't want to spend the money on an ipod, and I didn't need videos and other stuff. I just wanted music. The 2GB memory is more than enough for me, and it does what I need it to do, play my songs to keep me occupied during work, driving or running.
Summary: I am very satisfied with my purchase. I wanted something small, which would fit my pocket, at the same time something elegant and with long battery span. It is very easy to operate because of different sorting options (type of music, artist, album). This mp3 player meets all my requirements.
Summary: I ended up returning this mp3 player, but It wasn't all bad. I'll start off by talking about what I did like about it, before saying why I ended up returning it. I see it's now $70 on amazon, which is a good price (I paid $80). Good things: 1) I'll start off by agreeing with some of the reviewer here that this is probably THE most elegant looking mp3 player on the market. The blue touch buttons that light up when you press them are a lot of fun.
Summary: I did a good amount of research before i bought this MP3 player as it is my first. I knew when i bought it that it is windows media player 10 compatible and i have WMP 11 and was willing to downgrade just because of the physical qualities and the price of this player. However i just got it in the mail today and tried to downgrade my system to WMP10 as i've had it before i upgraded to 11 and dont really care for the layout of WMP11.
