Philips Gogear Opus SA10PS16K 16GB Review

  • Excerpt: This MP4 while it has a large amount of storage space becomes exceptionally choppy and slow when listening to songs that have certain technoish aspects to them, it makes it imposible to listen to but when you press a button it stops being choppy for about 10 seconds. Overall I am very annoyed by it. Not all to easy to navigate between a large amount of songs but a good screensize and good quality but overall I am very annoyed by it.

  • Pros: Sound quality. well put together
  • Cons: Missing tracks, slow menu navigation

  • Summary: I recieved one of these as a present, and it lasted 3 days before I took it back. It kept freezing and wouldn't start again unless the reset button was pressed (which you need a pin or paperclip to do), and then all of your music would be deleted anyway. I bought a Sony Walkman E series instead, which is much better quality, easier to use and sounds great.
  • Pros: Nothing
  • Cons: Slow, poor sound, hopeless interface
