Fantastic product until it broke after such a short time

  • Excerpt: The Philips GoGear HDD6320 is undoubtedly one of the more stylish MP3 players on the market. The blue LED lights on the front display and the bright colour presentation on the screen ensure that this product stands out from the crowd. The playback through the provided earphones is very clear, and the earphones are far more durarle and hard wearing than the classic Ipod earphones that I have previously used.

Great player for those that do not need a radio

  • Excerpt: Upon first glance, the Philips HDD 6320 lead anyone to assume that it was an Ipod. It has a 55 millimetre screen which is quite large, it is a transflective backlit colour display TFT display screen. This supports photos, but not videos. The quality of the screen is quite good, but it could be better and higher quality, in spite of that its perfect for viewing photos.

Good if you'll be sticking to music.

  • Excerpt: This mp3 player has fallen between two stools a bit, which is unfortunate since judged solely as an mp3 player, it's definitely a great product: it looks very smart, and has touch-sensitive controls; the 30GB capacity is more than enough for most people's music collection; it's got it has a colour screen so you can look at your photos; and of course you can play music.

Highly recommended for those who don't want an iPod

  • Excerpt: At last - a non-iPod, large memory, reliable mp3 player, with the necessary features required by any music fan. The GoGear HDD6320 is an outstanding device, unlike any I have ever experienced. The touch sensitive key pad makes it very easy to scroll from song to song, the multi-preset sound settings allow for a personal sound, not least enhanced by the option of a graphic equaliser or the exclusive SRS WOW effect, found as an enhancement in Windows Media Player.

  • Excerpt: "This is a great MP3 player. lets not joke around here pound for pound against an ipod this is 100% better value for money. I have to be honest and say I will not go into real detail on features here other reviews might be a little more helpful there. What I will say is that this item is simple straightforward to use and has a groovy touch sensitive face and some nice sound enhancment options. On the downside though the screen is very easily marked ...

  • Excerpt: "I have a Philips HDD1635, it is a total peice of SHIT! I will NEVER buy another product from them. Plays for sure........that is why I bought it, I thought I could easily download all my music from media player to it. How wrong was I? Error messages that solutions could not be found, calling their help desk was a joke. I have finished a pc repair course and am very computer savvy. This product plain and simple does NOT work as they claim. It is total ...

  • Excerpt: "...with - this effort from Philips bears no comparison to the Apple i-Pod whatsoever. Most people will find themselves looking at this player as an alternative but to honest this is not worth bothering with. I first bought this after my 30 gig 4th gen i-Pod died and I felt that Apple was not going to get any more of my money. I purchased this from Amazon as it was discounted by nearly £100 so I thought "How bad could it be?" right? Wrong. This product ...

Philips GoGear Jukebox HDD6320 30GB

14 October 2007
  • Excerpt: "...So I went to the Philips website, which helped me out tremendously and I found out all you have to do is push the on/off button to the off position while pressing + on the volume control (Easy). When the player crashes, you do not lose any music files/or settings, its just a case of resetting the unit, so you can play it again. It has crashed twice in the four months I have owned it. The Philips website is generally helpful, though I don't have ...
  • Pros: Fast load up, excellent battery life, good sound quality .

Not quite what i'd expected of Phillips.

  • Excerpt: "...very good. This is something Philips are renowned for - and something which throughly shines through with this HDD. The highs are crisp, and the bass notes are well defined - not a blur like with some other players. This quality is accentuated by the bundled headphones, which are well padded in-ear style, and are very high quality - something which would be expected of headphones somewhere in the £30 region (which is alot for in-ear phones). The ...

Ignore the "iPod" Review

KRaven33, Ciao
12 May 2007
  • Excerpt: "Nice interface, very elegant controls, looks great, sounds great, holds TONS of music and pictures! An all-around awesome player! I even recorded some nice Arabic news and music while in Iraq! Crystal clear AM/FM radio reception, one thing not mentioned here. Use it for dictating notes (stores into .wav files) and easy to manipulate. Also, RAW MP3 FILES!!! No messing around with download Apple services! THAT was worth it all, right there. ACTUAL MP3s ...
  • Pros: Actual Mp3 music in MASS Quantities, Cool/Smooth Controls
  • Cons: Maybe 1cm thicker than most players, but its 30 Gigabytes !
