this is the BEST player ever made
22 July 2015
Summary: this is the BEST player ever made, very durable and super long battery life ! i had the go gear aria smaller one that lasted 4 years and the only reason that broke was because i layed on the ground under my truck with it on my belt and smashed the screen. phillips makes amazing players
Summary: I was looking for a player that would play FLAC files, and the Ariaz 8 does that in spades! Of course it also plays mp3's like a pro. I disregarded the songbird software so I have no comment on that. It's a well built unit that feels like a quality piece of equipment.
Summary: So i had a 16GB Ariaz before this one. Last about 2years. I was very happy with it. But, i finally killed it. So, i went looking for the same one. I couldn't find anything locally. Everything new was too "cell phoneish". I just wanted a good MP3 player. I was excited to finally find one on Amazon.
Summary: Everyone seems to have their opinion on this device, so I thought I throw mine in as well. I brought the phillips connect for my 15 year old daughter for Christmas last year. It debuted in September and I got it for a good price in December.
Summary: While the iPod set the standards for Mp3 players, I was never a fan of the annoying and quite cumbersome iTunes. The Philips Ariaz is a great player for those who are looking for an alternative. After several attempts with the low-quality San Disk Clip (a real inferior product.
