Summary: Worst MP3 player ever, you regret this purchase a) The shuffle function is a joke. It will consistently play the same songs in the same order everytime. There's no tricking it. b) It does not remember the last song you played, so you will be listening to the same first 10 o 20 songs forever. So no use in having 8GB of music if you can only listen to the same songs over and over. c) It takes forever to boot and it is unresponsive for a while right after turning it on.
Summary: I like Philips MP3 players. I liked both the Aria and the Ariaz. They would play mp3s and WMAs. They had sleep timers that would shut down after a pre-determined amount of time. They mostly just play music and audiobooks and FM radio. The Android does not play WMAs. The Android does not have a sleep timer function.
Summary: I am so disappointed with this purchase. I can't believe I paid over 100 dollars for something that didn't even last a week! I should have just saved more money and purchased something better. The problem that I have is that the battery doesn't last long. I had to recharge it in the morning even though I had charged it the night before. Another problem I have is that it would heat up fast within 5 minutes of use so I would just leave it in the night table to cool off.
Summary: Ordered this for my 13yr old son. We had it less than a month before it broke and went to white screen if it even turned on at all. Returned it for a refund which Amazon handled very well and we were pleased with. Disappointed by the product..
Summary: There seems to be inherent design errors with the Player that it locks up in its own world from time to time, not responding to any user inputs. After quite some reboots, I just gave up using it anymore. I don't even want to downgrade and use it as a portable file storage device, cause it's way too unreliable. I am very disappointed by this Phillips product.
