The GoGear Aria is a useful MP3 player that makes a great match for Rhapsody subscribers. It won't turn any heads, but it won't break the bank, either. Read more

    • The Aria's design is a little blah, navigation is a tad quirky, the construction is all plastic, and the music player doesn't support AAC files from iTunes.

I was excited to see an android-esque music player. Very similar to my galaxy s phone, i do like it a lot. The sound quality is very good coming from the internal speaker. Does not support facebook for android app which was a little bit of a bummer. Also, phillips music management software, Songbird, at first is similar to itunes, but it does not sync properly with my device. Overall i would reccomend to others, but its no where near an iPod. My 9 yr old had been begging for some kind of device to call her own (tablet, laptop, cell phone...anything really). She saved her money for ages and finally had enough to start shopping around. She's too young for many of the devices out there, and I don't want her to have that sort of connectivity yet so...I started looking for a "happy medium" which appeared to be an Ipod Touch. This seemed like the perfect mp3 player for me. It had drag and drop functionality (since I'm running Linux, I can't use some bloated proprietary program), a text file reader (so I can read some lyrics), and it had good old buttons instead of a finicky touchpad. It seemed perfect... However, all these things are only good if the product actually works. Read more

One of the most appealing 16gb mp3's out there for the money, but I just won't risk getting another one of these. Bought a Creative Zen to replace it, with a 1 year warranty :) I liked it for the brief period I owned it, but probably would not recommend this thing to a friend. Read more

    • The sound was great, easy to use, long lasting battery.
    • Died after 5 months, well outside of the 90 day warranty, but still new enough for me to be upset about it. Used some rewards points to get it so I'm not out anything,...
  5. The best MP3 player thus far
