Excerpt: I just happened to come across this little mp3 player last summer. I ended up buying it because I needed a new one, and this one seemed like a great value. It was sold for about $15, and has many features. There’s normal mp3 file playback for everyday music listening. Also, this mp3 player has a voice recorder which is usually hard to find for $15. This mp3 player also comes with a set of surprisingly-good ear buds.
Summary: my son received one of these and we couldn't figure it out...it wasn't worth the time to get it working. we've had other better quality players which work much better. spend another $20 bucks and get a sansa which is much more user friendly and better quality.
Summary: I already had the 1 GB and I loved it, but I gave it to my daughter. It's an inexpensive MP3 player with USB that I can drag and drop music onto for use at the gym for exercising. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it came with a cheap headset so the sound quality was lousy. I had to exchange the headset with the one that came with the 1 GB player I had. I'm very disappointed that the 2 GB headset was cheap and had lousy sound quality.
Summary: This thing is totally unusable. The body of it is too wide for the USB connector to fit into my PC! On my PC there is a bit of an inset around the USB port. The neck of this unit doesn't reach deep enough into that inset. Stupid design. ....update....I just looked on the Nextar website and I guess I would have to pay $10 for an extension cord to plug this into my PC. *sigh*...
Summary: I would love to operate this MP3 player, however, I cannot find the battery cover! Any suggestions? Yes, I have read the instruction manual! I am ready to throw it in the trash!!!!! DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!
Summary: This device came broken out of the box. The comment about the play button being faulty is correct. Mine is stuck at the menu screen. I can scroll between options, but can not select anything because the play button is not working. And yes, the player does drain quickly even when not powered on. Customer service seems poor from Nextar as well.
