IF your dont need alot of songs, have a old operating system then it is ok.

  • Summary: I've had this player for almost a decade now, still looks sleak and new. The chrome style finish stays almost spotless forever, I've skateboarded with this thing and got in some nasty accidents and could have sworn this thing has got to be busted but never skipped a beat and never got a scratch on it. Amazing hardware! HOWEVER. The Mpio Manager2 that is necessary in order to download the music onto it is borderline absolete.

**Review to ALL types of MP3s**

  • Summary: Every month, manufacturers unleash even more MP3 players to an increasingly confused public. Not only do these devices have wildly divergent features, but ongoing format wars mean the MP3 player you choose dictates where you can buy your digital music. These devices are anything but one-size-fits-all. First, there's the question of design.

The MPIO FL100, a great (but unknown) mp3 player

  • Summary: I'd like to give this a 4.5 out of 5, but I can't, so I went with all 5 stars. It is a superb mp3 player and gave me almost 3 years of trouble free use. I had no complaints whatsoever when I used it. I used it mainly for running and working out, so it sure took a beating and liked it! But finally after 3 years it started to have a few problems with buttons not working, no volume, etc., and then the screen finally went bad.

Excellent product!

  • Summary: What I love about this product, besides the look, is the ease at which it loads music. I'm a 40 mother of 2 boys and thought it would be a challenge to figure this thing out. NOT SO! It's already compatible with Windows Media Player and has an slot for an SD card. You load the software that has the drivers and the RealPlayer music player on it, but I don't use that player. Connect the player using the cord and once on WMP, you can click on "copy to CD or device".

M P I O U Nothing (UPDATED)

14 July 2004
  • Excerpt: "...little known Korean brand called MPIO and their FL100 player fair? Well if it’s based on the brand and reputation alone, it’s already lost the battle (along with hundreds of other digital music players) to Apple and it’s incredibly popular iPod (and soon to be released Mini iPod). The iPod is to us what the Sony Walkman was in the early 80’s, the benchmark portable player of the day. The MPIO FL100 is a solid state player which means it has no ...
