Summary: I used to own one of these sturdy little MP3 players years ago and after searching, shopping and returning other cheaper players, I decided to get this one again. Its super sturdy with good sound & excellent battery life. Highly recommended!
Summary: old, out of production. It plays as well as the high priced new selections being offered from many manufacturers. No special battery, just AAA battery, akaline or rechargeable. Takes up to 2gb SD memory. Takes up to 4gb memory if it is a non-hc, but those are rare here in United States. FM radio, but needs strong signal, records FM in wav format. Not the best, but it does work. I buy for a back up player......
Summary: This product is a piece of junke, No wonder why there is not any store selling this product. It get frozeen when you are downlouding music, very annoying noises when you get the highest volumen, it turn off by itself sometimes without no reason, and the software is not friendly at all.
Summary: I like the form factor for bike riding. I mounted it to my helmet. But I went through two that failed with error message "can't format internal memory". Help line from Motorola was totally useless. They could not recognize their own error message. The software would not play songs in my library, whether or not the unit was connected. Again, help line helpless. They suggested using some other product (Real Player, MS Media Player, etc.
Summary: I was looking for an inexpensive MP3 player that acepted flash memory expansion cards to do the following: Listen to audiobooks. Listen to music. Listen to and record FM. The M25 does all of these things. However, the FM is lousy. I have compared it with several MP3 players and walkmans. I exchanged my original unit with Motorola and got the same FM performance with the replacement unit. This is the main reason that I only gave it 3 stars.
