Summary: Upon receiving my zune I came here and wrote a good review on the timing of the package and condition. Over the past several weeks i've noticed the battery life on this zune is terrible. Some days im lucky if it lasts two hours. The battery life can say half full then be dead in ten minutes.

Summary: This could very well be a user problem but this zune is complicated. tons of features are on it but only way to know what to do is online in the help area, as you plug in your zune the site will download and be on your desktop for future references.
Summary: After connecting my zune and updating, I tried to sync my music. It synced about 15 of 3442 songs, then stopped with an error message, saying the zune was no longer connected (which it clearly was). I clicked "sync" again, and it was able to sync about 10 more songs before I received the same error.
Pros: The navigation when using the zune is easy and intuitive, the extra large screen size is very nice is well. The fact that you can use it as a video output just by plugging it into a TV is great, and the having an FM radio is a bonus as well. Overall it is a very attractive device, and I was reall...
Cons: The first thing I did when I received my zune was try to turn it on...which did not work. I plugged it to my computer, saw a small battery logo on the screen (assumed it just needed a quick charge) and waited about an hour....still would not turn on. I then left it plugged in overnight, and it fi...
Summary: I bought the Zune after having my iPod stolen from the gym I go to (I liked the FM receiver option). Not only was this device quirkie...it was ridiculous. I had been a past iPod user and was used to the easy changing and re-arranging of music, playlists, etc.
Summary: I would not have bought this if i know about the XP 64 bit. You would think they could easly do this sence there is a Vista 64 bit software
Pros: Nice looking device compacted for it storage size and its not an ipod
Cons: This device doesn't work with XP 64 bit bit. Call the zune 1 800 number and they told me to upgrade my OS. However there is a work around but you need to have a 32 bit os to do it. Synce is super slow 112gigs of music to do and 10 hours later im still waiting
Summary: I originally purchased the Zune to watch movies when away from home and listen to music. I am not a fan of Apple due to their proprietary approach to everything, but if I had to do it again, I would purchase the IPOD Touch, mainly because of the poor Microsoft software and the inability of the Zune...
Pros: Nice Video Screen, large capacity
Cons: Poor software, not drag and drop, must use Zune Software to transfer, music, videos, etc. Will not display digital copies of movies which come with current DVD's.
Summary: This thing started giving me an error message yesterday that I can't get to go away. Of course it's 3 days after the return limit on Newegg so I'm going to have to deal with Microsoft to get it replaced. Avoid this product like an STD.
Pros: This player plays music and video well enough.
Cons: The touchpad is inaccurate and mostly useless, though even when turned off through the options menu it is still active enough to keep turning the screen on and wasting battery power. And while on the topic of battery power, there's no warning that your battery is about to die. Sure, it'll go down...
Pros: Great software on the computer, nice looking.
Cons: Bought this beautiful looking MP3 for my daughter, she was thrilled, we only got it in Oct 08, it's Feb '09 now and the thing crashed and won't work at all. Unfortunately when I purchased it it was only a 30 day limited warranty, now microsoft wants $125 to repair it which is more than I paid.
Summary: When I plugged it in a USB port, a very dimmed icon of a battery with a lightning bolt in the middle appeared. After about 5 seconds, the whole screen turned off. I tried it on 3 computers, no "new hardware detected" balloon popped up. I also tried it with a separate powered USB port. Nada.
Summary: If all you want to do is move songs off of cd's or your hard drive onto a player buy an off brand something that comes with minimal software. Don't buy one as a gift to give to someone with minimal PC skills unless you are prepared to either preload the flash drive or install the software for them
Pros: The actual device is pretty sweet, lightweight, good tactile feel to the controls
Cons: Software needs to integrate with windows OS, no disk so its download only and it's fussy with firewalls. Unfortunately the error messages are less than helpful and your OS software needs to be up to date in several places that a normal person probably doesn't bother with that are not automaticall...
