Summary: This is the second Mp3 I've bought of this model, because I liked it so much. I work a minimum of eight hours a day at a place that allows the employees to listen to books on Mp3 or CD. I've had my first one for over a year, it has lasted longer than any other Mp3 player I've bought. So long as I remember to charge it until the screen that says "battery is full" comes up I've had no problems. It works great with Windows Media Player, which is my main music system.
Pros: The price was right $24 for a black Friday sale item. came with a case and cd manual,USB cable. The screen was adequate. The my DJ list for those custom lists. came with 500 songs already. I deleted those to make room for mine.Has a extra slot for a SD mi
Cons: Ok. the buttons were a bit hard to navigate, sometimes you would accidentally push voice record when trying to navigate around. Battery would only last 3-4 hours, was frustrating, because I had wait till I got home to recharge. But the most thing that tur
Summary: This MP3 player is not worth a dollar. Here are the basic elements of my negative rating: * While charging you cannot listen to your music. * The analog controls are clunky, slow or non-responsive. * The unit freezes up sometimes or is unusually slow. * Not Linux friendly (uses some godawful proprietary technology from Microsoft - Media Transfer Protocol) * The worst part: the battery died after a few weeks and refuses to hold a charge.
Summary: this thing lasted 2 weeks it took forever to do anything with it and the buttons dont work right and it just stopped charging and it wont even register on my comp when its plugged up i had to buy a new one do not buy this

Summary: I wanted to use this product to listen to public affairs mp3 files (e.g., NPR, BBC, etc.) while at work. 4 GB holds about 130 hours' worth of such files, and you have to recharge after about 12 hours. After recharging, it forgets where you left off listening and starts up at the beginning again.
Summary: I bought this MP3 player for my daughter for Christmas last year. After only two months it quit working. It would not charge and no longer even turns on. I contacted Memorex and got the run around. Finally I was told to update the firmware and/or reset the unit. I have done everything and it still won't work. Since it was still under warranty I contacted Memorex again. After submitting my receipt and claim, I never heard back from them. I finally gave up.
