It´s worthy to buy this for its price and how practical
13 February 2011
Summary: I bought one of these, but a 8 GB of space. It is great, especially for watching your movies of the FLV videos you download from the Internet. I have watch BRrip AVI of almost 3GB, and the quality is impressive. I loved the autoscrolling feature for reading eBooks in TXT format. This player includes several features that other more expensive portable players don´t have.
Summary: Visuals are great, it plays audiobook and it has a bookmark so you dont lose your place. It easy to use and the volume is good. And just like it stated it only has about 8 hours staight of continuous play. Graphics are good though.
Summary: I purchased this player to download sounds on for a homemade predator call. I also recorded a bunch of music and it plays sensational. It is heavy but feels like it is well made. I would buy again. It also works great on my predator call.
Summary: I bought two of these as Christmas gifts. One worked without a problem and the other had software problems and wouldn't function. Returned it for a replacement. The replacement wouldn't work either. Returned it.
Summary: Good things: 16:9 screen, accepts SD cards, looks okay. Now for the bad things. The LCD panel is mounted sideways, so tint and color changes not when you turn the player left or right. The player defaults to video mode. It tries playing everything in widescreen mode, even the videos that are 4:3. You can switch the player to 4:3 mode via an obscure menu, but it does not remember the setting, and the next time it turns on it comes back to 16:9.
Summary: Pro's : For the price it's awesome. Video quality is excellent. Micro SD slot is excellent feature. Very easy to manuever through the menues. Con's : On board speaker not very loud (maybe the recorded level of the individual track imported), battery life not bad ( drops to 1 bar on display quickly, but runs on 1 bar for 6+ hrs) Big Con: DOES NOT play .MP4 format as advertised. (But it does use MPEG4 codec) The software was very basic and didn't work well.
Summary: I bought this because I needed a MP3 player that doesn't have any kind of wireless connectivity features, which is surprisingly difficult to find nowadays. I should've bought an iPod mini or something else, because this thing is horrible as a MP3 player. The sound quality was so-so, the battery life was pathetic, the UI was difficult to use and slow to respond and the music playlist features were seriously lacking. Save your money and buy something else.
Summary: Got this as a Christmas gift for my 10 yr old daughter and I have to say it's pretty amazing for the cost! It came with preloaded songs and video clips so she was able to play around with it right away. It also has radio which is nice. uploading songs is as simple as dragging from your computer folder to the mp3 music folder. she loves it!
Summary: This player was initially a gift, and we have bought 2 more. It is good for the price, but not perfect. The 3" screen appealed to those in the family that watch videos, which play quite nicely. Multiple video formats are allowed and I have had little problem importing them (a few formats need minor tweaking). Further, it is Linux compatible out of the box (we use Linux on our computers) and copying onto the Trio from Linux works great.
