Summary: I choose this product because it come with bigger screen than I phone. I have many mp4 movie which I can watch in the gym, but in fact it cannot play mp4 file....I call the support they said no update and cannot play mp4(it is not support at all) I give up.....than I bought the archos 7(and it's freeze too)Finally I go for viewsonic...perfect.
Summary: I got this player a few days ago. I'm still checking it out. I would have given it 3 1/2 stars because of the audio quality which is thin (see #1 con) and the video converter (see #3 con). Here are my pros and cons: THE CONS: 1) Music quality is good but it isn't great. It lacks body no matter what equalizer setting (even "user setting" which I spent a half hour customizing). Maybe that's 'cause I have been spoiled by my Sandisk Sansa m250.
Summary: My husband and I bought this for one of our teen-age daughter's Christmas gifts. She loves these types of things and is usually VERY picky with her electronics. She also usually doesn't stay happy for very long with her gadgets, this is not the case with this gift... She STILL LOVES this player!! It is like carrying around a mini-flat screen tv that plays everything and anything!!
Summary: After ordering this product for Christmas, I come to find that it is completely unable to charge. It would say it is charging, but would not charge at all. This really ruined my plans for a Christmas gift. So after I send it back, I'm told they do not have any more of the same units.
Summary: After having this MP3 player for only 2 weeks my teenage daughter dropped hers twice and the 2nd drop resulted in the screen cracking. In turn the unit does not work anymore. In short the item is way too heavy to use on a regular basis and there is no place for a hand strap or clip. You will need to buy a case if you really wanna get any use from the item and then you will need to constantly pull it in and out of the case not to mention the fact that it is touch screen...
Summary: Been using this for about 2 months. Use it for both music and video. For music - battery life is great at 6-8 hours. Sound quality is good (though I am not an audiophile) , and you can select from a half a dozen equalizer options including creating your own. (Sound quality is mainly dependent on earbud quality.) For video - screen size is large enough to enjoy movies or TV. The battery life is about 2 hours with video.
Summary: The player went beyond my expectations. The only drawback are the cheap earbuds. No problem, I expected to buy a separate, more comfortable set. Prompt delivery and very easy to follow and use.
Summary: I too bought this player as a more reasonably priced option to the ipod. I was pleasantly surprised with the ease of use for the music function, but am terribly disappointed with the video function. I have read and re-read the manual for help to no avail since the manual only really discusses transferring music files. I contacted technical support and the first guy barely sounded like he understood the converter program.
