Summary: (Note: I am using firmware version 1.1 at the time of this review). I have been through many portable media players in the past (including an Archos 3 , Onda VX787, and a Philips SA6145 ), although none have impressed me as much as this Mach Speed Trio. I purchased this player brand new and was unsure of what to expect; I had seen a video review and read many reviews here, but there was no solid review about this player. That is, until, now.
Summary: Customers beware this product according to Mach Speed Trio 4G had a batch of vidoe cards that are defective...and I got one! They knew this and did not recall them but allow unsuppecting customer to go through the hassel of sending back and maybe getting another product with the same problem BEWARE!!!
Summary: Its sound quality is great, and audio is about all I use it for. (I have not tested video very much, so I have no comment on video or sound quality there.) Control is NOT touch-screen (despite the product tags), but I prefer hard controls anyway. Trying to navigate a touch-screen while driving is a lot harder than just using buttons on the side of the device, since the latter I can use entirely by feel and keep my eyes on the road. So props for going with hard controls.
Summary: Let's not compare apples to oranges...This is not an Ipod; however, for the price you can't get a better product. How much Ipod can you get for $60? Not a 4.3'' touch screen. I give the Mach Speed Trio Touch 2 thumbs up!
Summary: Most people compare this player to an IPOD and give it a bad review. This lists for 99.00 tell me what kind of IPOD you can get for 99.00 (a one inch mp3 with no screen that's what). This MP3 rocks!!! Great product at a great price. PERIOD!!!
Summary: this is a great product: lightweight, compact & easy to use. best thing is battery can be recharged ! big bang for your buck! would highly recommend this for those who just wanna listen to music w/o complications.
Summary: I found this MP3 player on sale at an FYE store in my local mall for $70. Since my job requires that I spend long periods of time in a moving vehicle, I decided to buy it and have been quite satisfied with its playback of MP3s. The sound quality is great when put through a car stereo or headphones, however the built-in speaker is very rudimentary. You can tailor the sound quality to your liking with the Trio's on-board equalizer.
Summary: I got these a week ago, and am absolutely in love with this player. I paid $44 and its give you everything which an I-Pod gives you. Transferring songs, videos was the easiest thing I just plugged in to my computer and folder opened all I need is drag the files, all done. The only thing you need to do is buy a better pair of ear-phones that's it.
Best of the economical one so far....but still dies just like the rest..

Summary: Unfortunately, I've had to downgrade my review since getting it, good little player , for as long as it worked for me (about 6-7 months) ...but it like all of the 'cheaper' end mp3 players (around $50) I've so far tried, about 4 or so , so far, all quit working. Why do people sell these if all the do is eventually quit working? All of them, and usually a screen related problem!
