DEVICE NOT WORKING
7 August 2011
Summary: I got this item in nice pack. Initially I felt its good. But when I tried to operate, its not responding. After calling the tech support, as per their advice, I had to send it back for RMA. I spent $11 for shipping. These devices seems to be faulty. Please do not buy such devices.
Summary: I have been so impressed with this player that I just had to come back and do an update review. I never do updates! Also for what is worth I myself still carry the Mach Speed Oasis everyday to work and it is 3 years old.
Pros: 6 month update: The wife uses this player for everything but mostly for playing movies. No problems with the unit or the craftsmanship and this thing goes everywhere she does.
Summary: This video player suffers from the same problem as all the ones we have looked at... If the encoding isn't a specific one video and sound will be out of sync. This player does seem to work better then the one's we have tried at this price.
Summary: All in all this WAS the best player I had ever owned. Decent sound, nice menu system, easy to use. BUT After 6 months of use, I moved. My trio was packed for safe keeping in a box of shirts, to avoid issues.
Summary: I was looking primarily for MP3 capability (I think watching movies on a small screen somewhat ridiculous, and this unit does nicely. I loaded it up with a ton of classical music and was able to navigate OK (try doing this on a Sensa plus--pure aggravation), especially using a stylus, which does not...
Summary: I won't recommend this product. It is not well built. Top cover and bottom cover do not fit together tightly. The touch screen response and accuracy is substandard and frustrating. It does not categorizes the songs that you may have in the micro SD card. There is stop watch but no alarm clock.
Summary: I BOUGHT A MACH SPEED 430. IT WORKED WITH WINDOWS 7 FOR A LITTLE WHILE. I CALLED AND DOWNLOADED ALL SOFTWARE NEEDED. STILL DIDN'T WORK. GUESS WHAT, IT WAS 3 DAYS PAST WARRANTY. SHOULD HAVE SENT IT BACK IMMEADIATELY BUT I PROCRASTANATED. BOUGHT A SANSA FUZE 8GB WORKS GREAT FOR VIDEO AND MUSIC.
Summary: I bought the Mach Trio 2800 because I cannot afford an Ipod right now. After receiving the player, I charged it up and started to try out all of the different features. I was really surprised. Setting up the time and date were easy enough. The sample videos were great.
Summary: I can't believe anyone would rate this higher than 2 stars. When you first see it, you think, "Nice player" because you see it has a touch screen, has a speaker, has a micro SD card slot and has 2 earphone jacks. The store I purchased it at promoted it as having a 10 dollar mail-in rebate.
Summary: This item comes out of the box great. However my 14 year old son used his mowing money to buy it, the reviews made the item seem worthy. He had it 2 days and it broke. He had the player in his front pocket and the pressure from the jeans cracked the LCD screen.
