excellent sound quality

Murky, Amazon
17 April 2007
  • Summary: I've had my T30 for about 6 months and have used it extensively. I bought it because it has excellent sound quality. I listen to classical and acoustic music from reference quality recordings and always use high bit rate MP3s using good encoders (LAME 3.97).

These things are awesome

Anonymous, Newegg
14 July 2006
  • Summary: I have played with iPxds and Zxns, but after buying one of these, I bought 2 more and gave them to my brothers as gifts. OGG, MP3, WMA. The ability to store data files. The ability to voice record (picks up from a decent distance and it sounds pretty good too). What more do you need.
  • Pros: Plays OGG, MP3, WMA audio files. Gets loud. Included headphones aren't the worst with MP3 players. Records voice well.
  • Cons: EQ is very limited (for low-budget car stereo integration)

Gregory L. Firth, Amazon
5 February 2006
  • Summary: Sometime in the last few months, IRiver has issued firmware upgrades that permit the user to select USB Mass Storage (UMS) firmware or Microsoft's Media Transfer Protocol (MPS). Great product, efficient and looks nice

L. O. Villeda, Amazon
5 February 2006
  • Summary: I'm very satisfied with this purchase. I decided to buy this instead of the Ipod Shuffle because two things: - The screen where you can navigate the songs you have in the playlist. - You can replace the AAA by yourself. The battery life is very good and overall the product is great...

A good little mp3 player

G. Wilson, Amazon
5 February 2006
  • Summary: Well, I read the reviews here and elsewhere, and noted that the newer firmware versions allow transfers to the T30 as an external "flash" drive, so decided I'd give it a try. So far it has played everything I've tried exceptionally well, no problems.

great sound

Jewel, Amazon
5 February 2006
  • Summary: i orginally wanted a voice recorder to record my D&D group's 10 hr + long sessions, which demanded a larger size availabilty, with at least reasonable sound quality. I've taken this with me to a trip to visit my brother, and went with his band unit to some schools for an "intro to the instraments"...

AWESOME!!! BLOWN AWAY!!!

Steven W, Amazon
5 February 2006
  • Summary: Hi This is my first MP3 player. I decided on this unit because it allows you to record from any source via the line in jack. I bypassed using my PC and filled the T30 with Classic Rock from my CD collection.
