Summary: If you copy the files in one-at-a-time from your computer, they will play in that order. You can set it to pause for up to an hour. It's tiny, fits in the front pocket. I can download youtube videos, convert to mp3, and listen all day long with lots of pauses and not start over. I wish they still made it. Newer mp3 players are unnecessarily bulky in order to play movies. And/or they won't let you pause for very long. And it records well, great for lectures.
Summary: The iRiver T30, in both 512 and 1gb forms, is probably the best mp3 player for podcasts that I have used. It is powered by a AAA battery, so I can keep a pair of these charged and swap the next one in as needed (no downtime for recharging - great on a long trip!). A charge can last for up to 18 hours. The T30 also keeps track of your place, so if you lose power or turn off the device, you can pick up where you left off.
Summary: So far, I haven't received the merchandise. The delivery supposedly arrived yesterday, 9/2. However, it didn't arrive so far. On FedEx tracking system, it turned out the the shipment is at initiated state.
Summary: It is compact and easy to use. I have only used it once since my purchase of the T30 but will be putting it to more practical use later on. My purpose for the device is to use it as a voice recorder.
Summary: I love this little MP3! You can record from any source with the in-line feature, making music downloading unneccesary. It uses 1 AAA battery that lasts for at least 12 hours of music play time.
Summary: I bought this product in anticipation of recording my cassette tapes and dance mix CDs. It does just fine, but the software is not as good as my Toshiba Gigabeat U at separating tracks from cassettes. The noise from running the cassette itself makes it impossible for the iRiver to separate any of the tracks which I find to be a disappointment, but on the other hand I appreciate the ability to raise or lower the line-in recording volume and the high and variable bitrates...
Summary: I really like that it's small and easy to work out with. What I dislike about the item was that you need to use WMP to load your mp3's my last Iriver I bought came with its own media manager that made it real simple to load or delete files. The price is what was the determining factor for me. I love cost effective items.
Summary: The T30 was just what I was looking for. Mine came off Ebay with the most recent firmware so memory management and operations were fine. I really like the triangular style and the feel of the control keys when held with two hands. The sound output is great (high-quality phones are a must) and the built-in microphone is sensitive and picks up a full frequency range. Preset EQs with a 5 band user EQ setting and an SRS TRUBASS setting.
