The iRiver K1 (also known as iRiver Smart HD) is a personal media player that is available in four different design and capacity: the Basic 8GB (approx US$204), DMB 8GB (approx US$248), Education 16GB (approx US$266) and Wifi with DMB 16GB (approx US$310). The PMP features a 3.5 inch 16 million color multitouch screen with 480 x 320 pixel resolution, and is compatible with MP3, WMA, OGG, FLAC, APE, WAV and AC3 audio playback; MKV, AVI, WMV, MP4, TP, MPG and ASF video playback; JPEG, BMP, PNG, GIF and RAW image viewer and txt, DOC, XLS, PPT, PDF, HWP, HTML, HTM and MHTML document viewer. The unit also supports a microSD extension for extended memory and is powered by an 880mAh Li-on polymer battery that provides users with up to 18 hours audio playback or 6 hours video playback.

Features

The iRiver K1 is a personal media player that supports MPEG1/2 file format at 720 × 480 resolution with a rate of 4Mbps. It also supports up to 1280×720 at 10Mbps for MPEG4, 1280×720 at 10Mbps for XviD, 320×240 at 750Kbps WMV7 and 8; 1280×720 at 10Mbps for WMV9 and H.264 HP. The PMP also features equalizer settings such as Normal, Rock, Jazz, Pop, Classic, Live and Ubass; SRS WOW HD and SRS CS audio technology. When connected to a compatible headphone, the iRiver K1 supports SRS Circle Surround Headphone technology.
