Summary: First off this Iriver does what is designed to do well (play and record music). Also the software used to convert recorded files to Mp3s on your computer is very simple to use. I also have a high quality external mic that turns this Iriver into a great back up wireless mic for the events I film.
Summary: i should i have listened to the other reviews...the refurbished i river suks....its not recognised by any computer...you cant plug it in and ise it as an external drive..(the main reason i purchased it) and is only compatible with the software the package comes with.
Summary: I just recieved my mps player and have used it for about 4 days. Since I am a 1st time mp3 player owner there was a little trial and error getting started. Thankfully it came with easy to understand directions and it explained all the functions. I love the price and it is fantasic for work outs.
Summary: This MP3 Player has a simple set up, and easy to use. It came with the arm band carry case, which has been great for workouts. I would recommend this to any one looking for a player, its more affordable them the iPod and is able to record from the FM tuner, from an external device, it can record...
Summary: The iRiver iFP-795 (512mb) that I have has been the most rugged, well used MP3 player of all. I have listened to a lot of high quality music systems, and the sound from the iFP-795 beats them all. Incredible, clear music... from highs to deep lows of the bass.
Summary: Don't buy a refurbished one! I made that mistake and our computer will not recognize my player about 50% of the time. My husband's iRiver 795 was bought brand new last year and it is 10x better. I switched out USB cables and still it does not find my player. Very frustrating.
