Summary: First off this Iriver does what is designed to do well (play and record music). Also the software used to convert recorded files to Mp3s on your computer is very simple to use. I also have a high quality external mic that turns this Iriver into a great back up wireless mic for the events I film. (with a 40 hour battery life and a few hours of recording time at that!) I would highly recommend this product.
Summary: I bought this mainly to use as a personal MP3 recorder--its the only one I could find at the time. With a Griffen (?) mic it has great sensitivity, sound quality, and recording capacity--used it to record weddings and other events. But the interface is pretty horrible. Maybe it's me, but I have to figure out the multifunction buttons every time I use it. And my wife, whom I bought it for recording lectures, refuses to use it because of that interface.
Summary: i should i have listened to the other reviews...the refurbished i river suks....its not recognised by any computer...you cant plug it in and ise it as an external drive..(the main reason i purchased it) and is only compatible with the software the package comes with. the main problem being none of the computers i work on recognize it and i have to listen to the FM stations only..P.S...if your purchasin it get rechargeable batteries..it suks the life outta batteries.....
Summary: I just recieved my mps player and have used it for about 4 days. Since I am a 1st time mp3 player owner there was a little trial and error getting started. Thankfully it came with easy to understand directions and it explained all the functions. I love the price and it is fantasic for work outs. I am still trying to master all of the functions but it is easy to download songs and listen to them. I would recommend this product to anyone.
Summary: This MP3 Player has a simple set up, and easy to use. It came with the arm band carry case, which has been great for workouts. I would recommend this to any one looking for a player, its more affordable them the iPod and is able to record from the FM tuner, from an external device, it can record voice, these are just a few features It?
Summary: The iRiver iFP-795 (512mb) that I have has been the most rugged, well used MP3 player of all. I have listened to a lot of high quality music systems, and the sound from the iFP-795 beats them all. Incredible, clear music... from highs to deep lows of the bass. Battery life is excellent, with one AA battery(It's much better than a built in rechargable product that will wear out), and it can use either alkaline or rechargable.
