Very cool little player, especially for a beginner.

Summary: Was still using one of those "discman" type players till I got this. It has a 256MB memory & takes a 1G soundcard, which it didn't come with. Being that I bought mine used, I downloaded the instruction manual from the GPX website easily. It turns out that this particular player is very compatable with the Windows Media Player, which is where I store my music. I had the thing up and running, packed full of my favorite tunes in less than an 1/2 hour.
Summary: I purchased two of these little MP3s. One for my 10-year-old daughter and one for me. I've had both for over a year now and they work great. A matter of fact, my daughter's MP3 has gone through the washer two times and still works. Pretty impressive! According to my now 11-year-old the sound quality of this product is better than a similar priced Sansa MP3 a friend owns.
Summary: This is WAYYY better than the Cody brand one I had. (I think that was the brand) I use the heck out of it. It uses the small triple a batteries. Just buy some rechargeable batteries and a re charger. The battery life last a long time. The Headphone's it comes with are horrible. Buy some better headphones. The only bad things about it are the Headphones it comes with and the RANDOM button.
Summary: I really liked this product! For the money you couldn't ask for better! It has several functions that help you hear the music in its best sound. It does eat batteries so i suggest getting titanium.
Summary: the sound is very, very good, I bought 2. They work fine. For that price it is worth. If you don't wana buy Ipod 30G then this one here is a very good choice. The sound quality is comparable of Ipod 30G.
Summary: This mp3 player is good for entry level and people who use their mp3 once in a while. The good thing about this mp3 is the SD Card expansion. Sound quality is OK. The earphones need improvement. I used this with my $30 Sony earphones and the sound quality is the best. I guess they expect you to buy a better earphones. The controls button are small, but OK and same as any mp3 player of this size. Don't expect the Ipod experiences from a cheap mp3 player like this.
