Epson P-2000

PC Magazine
2 August 2006
  • Conclusion: The Epson P-2000 multimedia photo viewer is an excellent photo and video viewer with camera off-loading abilities. The image quality is breathtaking, and the viewer is very easy to use. You can display slide shows on-screen and with AV output. The P-2000 plays MP3s but has minor sonic flaws.
  • Pros: The best display we've yet seen on a photo viewer or portable multimedia device. Highly attuned to the needs of digital photographers on the go.
  • Cons: Filenames restricted to 8.3 format (one to eight characters, plus file-type extension). Some noise in audio tracks.

Epson P-2000 Multimedia Storage Viewer

PhotographyBLOG
23 April 2007
  • Summary: The Epson P-2000 Multimedia Storage Viewer has done what few products that I have reviewed here on PhotographyBLOG have ever done - made their way into my camera bag! The Epson P-2000 has impressed me so much that I plan to buy one just as soon as Amazon have it in stock. The Epson P-2000 represents the best compromise between having a laptop computer or one of the other portable storage devices on the market.

Epson P-2000 Multimedia Storage Viewer

PhotoReview
1 April 2005
  • Summary: Epson's P-2000 combines personal entertainment with data storage in a portable device with plenty of appeal to photographers. It has the largest, best-looking screen we've seen so far. The display has VGA resolution and shows three colours per pixel image, at a density of 212 pixels per inch, which is double the resolution of most competing products. . .

Epson Photo Viewer P-2000

CNET
16 February 2005
