Summary: After owning the a ZEN, I purchased this for my wife. Ugh I cannot begin say how disappointed I was. This Zen requires the Creative Central software to create playlists, and that doesn't even work. I've had to transfer the files manually onto the device and THEN use the Creative Central software to create the play list by navigating through the software.
Summary: I can't get this thing to work! Have refreshed and reset multiple times and still wont work. During reset the hour glass will spin for several minutes and then just freeze up and can't do anything with it. Bought another cheap Coby to replace the one i had before that lasted 4 years.
Summary: I used to love my Zen MP3 player. Till the battery died. So I got an identical replacement. And then that one had its battery die within months. So I now try this latest Zen M100 MP3 player. Dead in the box! My revue of this product? I don't have one. Never got to use it. All I want is a reliable MP3 player. If anyone knows of one, please let me know. P.S. Apparently I'm forced to give this product at least one star in order to submit this revue.
Summary: This player has no bookmark function to save your place. This may not be a problem if you are listening to short songs but if you use your player like I do to listen to books you are in trouble. For example books from Audible can have tracks that are many hours long. If you can't save your place your player is useless.
Creative Labs quality has greatly diminished recently
13 October 2011
Summary: First off, I have used numerous Creative Labs products over the last 12-13 years. I have used their sound cards and speakers for PCs as well as other MP3 players. I am a huge Creative fan and would much rather use their products than Apple's. That is I was a huge Creative fan until this year.
Summary: I bought two of these for Christmas for my kids. One did not work at all out of the box and I missed the return window. Don't buy this. The other one is unintuitive and problematic and has already been replaced.
