Summary: I don't know how I missed reviewing this but I have at least three Zen mp3players from the early tiny ones to this one. I get great sound with $15 headphones. Like the old cell phones, you cannot see the screen in daylight. I guess kids could sit and watch movies on the screen but i would not want the eye strain. I do get stuck in the menu sometimes but overall it gives me music while walking or in the car where my CD player has died.
Summary: bought this to replace my creative Zen m when it died after a few years. Wanted something similar that worked with Napster go but without the bulk. Found this to be exactly what I needed and then some. It's easy to use, the sound quality is great, battery lasts a decent amount of time and I like how small and light it is. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants an mp3 player but doesn't want to go the iPod route.
Summary: Positive: It has great audio. You can really hear the bass of the music. The bundled earplug enhances the audio more. The video is very crisp. It has long battery life. Negative: The Wireless Lan is almost useless.
Summary: I had one of these before and it got stolen, I tried several other newer players but I am coming back to this one. Sound Quality - Excellent, better than my 3 Ipods, and more max volume without sound clipping. Features - It plays videos and has a radio and such, but it really sells me on its equalizer, a REAL equalizer not just presets. If you want messaging and wifi and big video screen, get a smartphone.
Summary: i love this mp3. I had another one from Creative labs that I really loved but it came to the end of it's life span. I went right back to Creative labs for my next one. I did not have the money for the one I really wanted so I got this one because you can add memory later(when I have more money). I again am not disappointed. It is small so I can work with it. I download my audio books and music and listen to radio. Great!
Summary: The Zen X-Fi is really great and I can get lost in the sound quality when I relax and listen to my music, the radio, a movie or an audible book. The battery lasts for about 8 to 10 hours of continous use and so it lasts me all through my work shift and I charge it at night. I have thousands of pictures on mine and videos which I show off to anyone that will watch. This is my third one so that now my wife, my daughter and I all have one.
Creative Zen X-Fi 8 GB Video MP3 Player with Built-In Speaker (Black/Silver)
Shandra Shaw, Amazon
19 October 2010
Summary: I've had the 8GB Creative Zen X-Fi for about 1 months and it's great. The sound quality is excellent - far better than an iPod! I listen mainly to classical music and the 'expander' feature makes it sound like a concert. I've not used the video feature yet (it was an added bonus as I mainly wanted it for music) but if it's anything like the 16GB (my friend has downloaded some TV episodes) then I have something to look forward to!
The best mp3 players on the market for the money period
24 September 2010
Summary: I have owned several mp3 players including sony nwz series (the worst) x3 apple ipod touch 1st and 2nd (also hacked frameware so am aware of almost all features) gen ipod nano x2 also various other non-brand name players. I have to say creative labs has it figured out. This is the best media palyer around, not only does it have spectacular video and sound quality and syncs practically anything you put on it, but it also has many other great features as well (also works...
