Okay

Mary, Amazon
13 August 2011
  • Summary: It was an okay product. Much better than my Coby. I used it to exercise and it fitted perfectly in my arm strap and was ideal for that. But now that I've moved on to my Ipod 6th gen, I just like that so much more.

It's OK

very demanding customer, Amazon
15 December 2010
  • Summary: I use only for the radio, songs and eBooks. You need to use the specific software to load music and books. It's not customer friendly and very often the program turns off with ' problems';also you can use only the computer where the software is loaded. Lately another very annoying problem developed.

Creative Zen V Plus

ally3409, Ebay
1 September 2008
  • Summary: I love listening to audio books. My library just started audio books download. The library does not support Apple and Creative Zen is one of the MP3 player supports. I purchased the Creative Zen V Plus for that purpose. I was able to get the product at a good price with little shipping. I got everything I was promise. My experience with the purchase was excellent. My difficulty is with figuring out how to operate the player. It is not user friendly like my Nano Ipod.

cute but the interface could be better

leckig, Ebay
2 August 2008
  • Summary: I have had I think 5 different mp3 players and none works well for listening to podcasts. Basically, I am looking for one that could be set up to play each recording one time, but in random order. This one does not do it, also, the interface is not that great, and it crashed on me once already.

A little hard to do

Overstock
23 June 2008
  • Summary: Hard to find the music I loaded - instructions are vague as it seems all products from this company are - I just want my music on a player and I want to decide how to divided them up not load it and then have to hunt for everything. Sound is good and video is readable but sorting is vry difficult.

Creative ZEN Audio Player

Overstock
4 June 2008
  • Summary: Creative ZEN V Plus is a compact device. As such, it's not really meant for viewing, more for audio playback & quick checking of videos. its about matchbook sized, which means the screen isn't that big (about an inch diagonal or so).

Not perfect for audiobooks

J. Altenhofen, Amazon
15 April 2008
  • Summary: I have been on a lengthy search for a player that is easy to use for people who listen to audiobooks instead of music. Most players barely address audiobooks, including Creative Zen. I knew Creative was compatible with library downloads (not all players are) so I bought this one. It is small and does work. But the books are downloaded into different locations (my library downloads go one place and audible goes another) and are difficult to retrieve.

It's All Right

foxfox20, Ebay
2 March 2008
  • Summary: It has its limitations (such as impossibility of charging it except through a computer). However, my biggest problem with this item is that if something happens, and resent button doesn't work (which is not at all rare), you have to wait until the battery depletes completely, then keep your fingers crossed and hope it will come back on once you re-connect it. Error handling is nonexistent in this player. I tried to play an .avi file, which it supposedly supports.
