Summary: bought in jan 08, died in feb 09. had a couple of freeze-ups prior to dying this month. pc stopped recognizing it last month & now won't even turn on now. really disappointed in this creative product.
Summary: Greetings to all potential Creative customers, I was greatly disturbed today when I found out the lack of help provided by the Creative Labs Company to my wife when her 30 GB Zen MP3 player failed to run properly.
Summary: Pros: ZERO!!! The LCD went black after about three weeks. Cons: Only three month ""warranty"" on parts. I purchased it in October as a Christmas gift for my daughter. By the time the LCD went black, it was already out of warranty and Creative wants thirty bucks PLUS SHIPPING just for the PRIVILEGE...
Summary: My unit lasted about four days. It performed very well until it shut down last night. Now it refuses to boot... maybe the screen is dead. Either way, it's a lemon. After checking out reviews at other sights, this problem is not so uncommon. I'm returning my unit today for a refund.
Summary: I received the Creative Zen V Plus as a gift for playing electronic audiobooks provided by my local library. I had hoped to use my iPod but Apple does not support the library's digital rights system. Hence the need for a compatible MP3 player. At first glance it is a beautiful device.
Summary: I got this as a gift from my wife just this past Christmas. It completely died mid-song while I was walking to the supermarket. And that was only the fourth or fifth time that I used it. Caveat emptor.
Summary: This is a nice player, but this one and a black Zen V Plus 2GB Black/Green BOTH have a dead screen after three months. I would send them for replacement but when I contact Creative about the warranty I got this......
Summary: Don't really know how well it works since it was dead on arrival. The unit didn't turn on unless it was connected to the PC via USB. This was an immediate turn off so I returned it and bought a different brand.
Summary: I bought one of these players in April. I had to repeatedly reset and then reformat the player. Finally in August it died totally. Creative customer service wanted $25 dollars to even look at it with no guarantee that, even if fixed, it would last for any period of time.
Keep on looking, this MP3 player needs to be renovated

Summary: We liked this product until after a few hours after we got it, it stopped working and froze. The reset button did not work. When searching the net for answers, I found many instances where others had the same problem.
