Summary: I bought the Zen V Plus because I like the design, the colors and the supposed features. BUT less than 24 hours after it was fully charged and only 2 songs later, the unit completely froze! It wouldn't even turn off. The only solution was to let the unit's battery die. The reset button didn't do anything at all. After I let it die, I recharged it, was able to listen to only 3 songs before it did the exact same thing again!
Pros: There are no pros unless you are an executive of this scam Co.

Summary: Pros: ZERO!!! The LCD went black after about three weeks. Cons: Only three month ""warranty"" on parts. I purchased it in October as a Christmas gift for my daughter. By the time the LCD went black, it was already out of warranty and Creative wants thirty bucks PLUS SHIPPING just for the PRIVILEGE OF SENDING IT BACK! I will never purchase another Creative product again. Creative sucks. Lesson learned: Always read the warranty before spending your hard earned bucks.
Summary: I received the Creative Zen V Plus as a gift for playing electronic audiobooks provided by my local library. I had hoped to use my iPod but Apple does not support the library's digital rights system. Hence the need for a compatible MP3 player. At first glance it is a beautiful device. The size of matchbox, its shiny black finish and minimalist controls look modern, sleek, and efficient. Its the sort of technology you want to show off.
Summary: I bought one of these players in April. I had to repeatedly reset and then reformat the player. Finally in August it died totally. Creative customer service wanted $25 dollars to even look at it with no guarantee that, even if fixed, it would last for any period of time. I strongly suggest that you look for another brand of player.
Keep on looking, this MP3 player needs to be renovated

Summary: We liked this product until after a few hours after we got it, it stopped working and froze. The reset button did not work. When searching the net for answers, I found many instances where others had the same problem. It was not Amazons fault but the Creative company who needs to do some tweaking on their product.
