Creative Zen Stone Plus 2GB mp3 player

christineb, ReviewStream
26 July 2014
  • Excerpt: The Creative Zen Stone PLUS is a very compact mp3 player full of features for its size. First of all the model comes in different storage sizes: mine is 2GB and the choice of color is either black or white.

Battery

Mike, Amazon
18 March 2014
  • Summary: I was very disappointed with the product but the seller gave me all my money back. I had one of these originally but I guess once the battery dies the thing is toast.

Buy the stone w/o a screen and a speaker!

Jessa N., Amazon
3 January 2014
  • Summary: I purchased the Stone no screen and a speaker and that thing is a work horse! When my friend lost it, I got this one thinking it would be the same. Unfortunately, I was wrong. This one takes FOREVER to switch songs, and takes almost as long to turn on and off. With the other one it took about 1 second. I am very disappointed and I would return it if I could!

Reliable

dannyswafford, Amazon
10 March 2013
  • Summary: I've had it for 5 years and it still works better than anything else. It has fallen down million times, I have dropped it in the sink, so it gets water in it, but it still plays and works very well. The disadvantage may be 2GB storage, but that has worked fine for me. I have over 100 songs on it and it is still not full. It may look a bit old-fashioned compared to iPods, but it's something you can rely on and it's definitely worth the price.

sqeaky clean!

Merlette, Amazon
28 February 2011
  • Summary: I've run this little guy through the wash twice and it's still working! I thought for sure I'd be buying a new one after the most recent cleansing but the darn thing turned on!

Superior product, sad they don't make it anymore

ninja crepes, Amazon
5 August 2010
  • Summary: I am prompted to write this because I've found the the iPod shuffle (3rd gen) to be such an grossly inferior product. In 2007, I'd put the Creative Zen Stone on my wishlist and received it as a Christmas gift-I was, needless to say, thrilled. The Creative Zen Stone was such a well designed, easy to use, intuitive to program little product it's a crying shame that it didn't enjoy more success.

Great MP3, crappy battery life.

~Nina~ "Nina Fofina", Amazon
2 April 2010
  • Summary: They're refurbished, so you get what you pay for. I bought one for me and one for my boyfriend, mine will hold a charge for 3 gym trips if I'm consistent, but if you let this sit for any amount of time, it will lose it's charge. Also, the little thing doesn't always charge when you plug it in. I've had this thing sitting on the charger for hours with nothing going on.

Great little player, durable and cute

katira "Katira", Amazon
17 March 2010
  • Summary: I own two of these players for about 2 years. I have a 2GB and a 4GB I bought them both for about $49.99. I use it mostly to listen to audio books downloads from the library online. I like that is supports mp3, wma, and m4a file formats, so it can play itunes but not itunes audiobooks, m4b formats. It does do audible, I have tried that and it works great. Battery life is almost 10 hours on one charge and it charges quickly from my computer's usb port.

refurbished product

Samuel R. Sanchez, Amazon
9 January 2010
  • Summary: Dear Sirs, This is the real first product that I am not pleased with. It was to have been a Christmas gift but it only brought saddness. We have tried everthing to bring it to life but nothing works. This product must have pass un-notice. The touch pad/swtich to turn on the divice is lose. We were able to down load some music but it will not turn on or display much. It shows some sign of live for about 5 seconds and then shuts off.

1 gb Stone is better

Curt, Amazon
21 May 2009
  • Summary: I think the 1 gb Stones are actually easier to use, and you don't have to look at them. The display makes a big reduction in battery life.
