Summary: Every month, manufacturers unleash even more MP3 players to an increasingly confused public. Not only do these devices have wildly divergent features, but ongoing format wars mean the MP3 player you choose dictates where you can buy your digital music. These devices are anything but one-size-fits-all. First, there's the question of design.
Excerpt: I didnt want to buy the player , but when a friend of mine were going to buy and asked me help him buy a good one; I suggested him to go on creative, because I know their adorable work on sound engineering and quality made produces. and he decided to buy the model (Creative Rhomba nx 512mb). after using the model we found what the deal we have done .! and made me purchase another one for me. 1-.
Pros: brilliant sound , rich play mode, valuable earphones
Excerpt: I wanted a small, light and not-too-expensive MP3 player, and the salesman recommended the Rhomba NX. I have had it a week now, and it is driving me mad. To begin, the program included, Creative Media Source, is not particularly user-friendly when transferring music. After a while you get used to it, or you can use Windows Media Player. I tried to transfer some classical music, which recorded fine, but the actual titles of the pieces were not displayed on the player.
Pros: small, light, good volume, crisp sound . Prompt e - mail replies to queries
Excerpt: I own several mp3 players and this one rates quite well against the others. It is very small (which can be a pro and con!) light and looks cool. The large screen is easy to read and the three modes (radio, mp3, voice recorder) are good - thought the voice recorder isnt used very often (i cant sing) and isnt great quality anyway. Apart from that, i find 256 mb to not be enough so maybe you should consider a 512 or greater capacity mp3 player...
Pros: Large screen, good sound, nice looking, 3 modes
Cons: Too small for me, only 256mb - voice recorder is a bit useless for me
Excerpt: I am a proud owner of an iPod and I think it’s one of the best hard drive mp3 players available. However sometimes you want something small and super-portable to carry around, especially if you are a runner, like I am. I don’t mind my iPod when I run, but it does weight you down, especially if you are trying to do long distance. So I set out to find a nice, portable mp3 player to fit this purpose. One of the players I tried was the new Creative Rhomba.
Excerpt: I'd looked at other MP3 player in the £100 region but the best ones only had 128MB, and tended not to support wma, so already this looked promising. Frankly anything more is a plus. It's a great music player, a perfectly good thumb drive, a reasonable radio, and the recordings bounce out to a format that's transferrable to CD pretty easily.
Excerpt: Intro I hinted that I wanted an MP3 player for Christmas, and being the lucky boy I am, Santa dropped one down my chimney. Luckily it wasn't damaged on the way down! Music on the go has come a long way, from the old cassette walkmans, personal CD, mini disc and now of course the MP3 player. MP3 is an abbreviation for a compression algorithm called ?MPEG 1 Layer-3?, meaning you can take everyday music and squash it down much smaller allowing more storage.
