**Review to ALL types of MP3s**

1337_ownage, Ebay
16 April 2008
  • Summary: Every month, manufacturers unleash even more MP3 players to an increasingly confused public. Not only do these devices have wildly divergent features, but ongoing format wars mean the MP3 player you choose dictates where you can buy your digital music. These devices are anything but one-size-fits-all. First, there's the question of design.

  • Excerpt: "...mad. To begin, the program included, Creative Media Source, is not particularly user-friendly when transferring music. After a while you get used to it, or you can use Windows Media Player. I tried to transfer some classical music, which recorded fine, but the actual titles of the pieces were not displayed on the player. The manual (which is on the installation CD or on the website) is totally insufficient. I have been in e-mail correspondence ...

Good...for a 256mb mp3

oscariuss, Ciao
16 March 2005
  • Excerpt: "I own several mp3 players and this one rates quite well against the others. It is very small (which can be a pro and con!) light and looks cool. The large screen is easy to read and the three modes (radio, mp3, voice recorder) are good - thought the voice recorder isnt used very often (i cant sing) and isnt great quality anyway. Apart from that, i find 256 mb to not be enough so maybe you should consider a 512 or greater capacity mp3 player... Sound ...
  • Pros: Large screen, good sound, nice looking, 3 modes
  • Cons: Too small for me, only 256mb  -  voice recorder is a bit useless for me

The perfect mini gym companion

Vicster17..., Ciao
20 December 2004
  • Excerpt: "...I tried was the new Creative Rhomba. Design The look of the device is quite pleasing. It’s quite sporty in a way, yet manges to come off looking classy. This will look nice next to both your gym gear and your office gear. It’s color scheme is quite eye-catching, with silver and mirror surfaces covering the device. The mirror part was easy to smudge, but that’s not such a big deal. The front of the device is dominated by the large and clear LCD ...

Great MP3 Player

cyberus, Ciao
18 March 2004
  • Excerpt: "...gripes are really tiny - Creative Rhomba would be nice to power it from the usb cable while in use, and of course in an ideal world it would be USB 2, though it transfers pretty fast on my PC - 4 minutes tops to fill it - and of course a digital radio would be great, but i guess there's a power issue. The only big problem is finding a little bag for it to go in, not to keep it safe, just to keep it warm and comfy. In the end i couldn't find one ...

Sounds like a disposable bed companion

Kingseany, Ciao
26 February 2004
  • Excerpt: "Creative Rhomba MP3 Player Intro I hinted that I wanted an MP3 player for Christmas, and being the lucky boy I am, Santa dropped one down my chimney. Luckily it wasn't damaged on the way down! Music on the go has come a long way, from the old cassette walkmans, personal CD, mini disc and now of course the MP3 player. MP3 is an abbreviation for a compression algorithm called “MPEG 1 Layer-3”, meaning you can take everyday music and squash it down ...
  • Pros: Small, good sound, nice looking
  • Cons: Possibly disposable after a year

  • Summary: Creative Rhomba 256MB ********************************************************************** Vorgeschichte: Weihnachten 2003 habe ich eine Aiptek mit 256 MB geschenkt bekommen, welcher aber wegen eines Wackelkontakts umgetauscht wurde. Dann bekam ich den Creative Rhomba für 180,00€, ein stolzer Preis, aber ich dachte, das es sich auch lohnt.
