Summary: I love this mp3 player for its sound mostly. It gives an incredible range of sound and many different settings. It also lasts forever - I've had it for more than a year without issues. Just don't plug it into a Mac and you'll be fine.
Summary: A good device with the best form factor I've seen from something this size. Its greatest downfall being that it has no wifi connectivity. Beyond that its audio enhancement and eq settings are the best I've seen. UI can be a little annoying.
Summary: I bought this as a replacement for my samsung p3. I could talk about all the cool little features this thing has but to be honest I bought it first and foremost to play music and it does it well. The sound on my p3 was great but this thing just ......wow is all I can say.
Summary: Not a bad unit for the price. I got the 16 so I could add my own memory card to expand it without the inflated cost of the 32 GB. It is not easy to create a playlist on this thing although the main menu has a default space for it.
Summary: The J2 is my second Cowon player (prev.: D2) - and I'm once again fully convinced of the product quality. Signal quality (using Denon C751 In-ear plugs) and battery life are outstanding; format compatibility (e.g. MP3, OGG, WMA, M4A, FLAC, WAV etc.
Summary: FIRST REVIEW: I contacted Cowon, but they did not answer yet: I've bought my Cowon J3 last week. I charged it first (totally), turned it on and started listening. The battery only lasted 20 hours. When it finished (yesterday), I charged it again. And it lasted only 14 hours.
Summary: First off, I should say that for most of my mp3 life, I have been a Creative man. In the past I owned both the Zen Sleek and last the Zen X-Fi, so all I have to compare this one to are Creative products.
Summary: Needed a good player for my FLAC and APE files (which my iPod could not do).
Bought this player on the various internet recommendations although its ridiculous expensive in Europe (239 Euro for 16G version).
It's a very good audio player in a nice looking package.
Pros: Compact, lightweigth, very good sound (for portable)
Cons: Feeble USB / mm card cover, software stability issues at low battery
