Summary: I've had this player for about a year now, and I still love it. The main reason why I chose the J3 is that I wanted to be able to store a good amount of my music collection on my player, so that I could listen to what I feel like at the moment without having to prepare and load different titles on...
Summary: I love this mp3 player for its sound mostly. It gives an incredible range of sound and many different settings. It also lasts forever - I've had it for more than a year without issues. Just don't plug it into a Mac and you'll be fine.
Summary: A good device with the best form factor I've seen from something this size. Its greatest downfall being that it has no wifi connectivity. Beyond that its audio enhancement and eq settings are the best I've seen. UI can be a little annoying.
Summary: I love that i dont have to get an ipod (first non ipod mp3) and im just exploring the flac world which sounds much better than mp3's, so im gonna have to start learning more to those crazy audio people cause they know whats up.
Summary: Not a bad MP3. Haven't used any video's or photo, yet. The sound quality is good when playing music. The 16GB can hold about 4,000 songs.Less,if you put photos or movies on it. But you can purchase a memory card for it to hold a lot more songs, photos or video. Has an FM radio.
Summary: I've listened to many ipods, cd players, and the discontinued iRiver H-340. I'm using $60 earbuds. Sound-wise: my old iRiver H-340 provides a "warmer" sound and in my opinion--a "better" sound. However, the J3 is equipped with the most customizable equalizing options ever invented for an mp3 player.
Summary: I rather enjoy this PMP. I had previously thought I'd never buy anything other than Zune again, but Cowon has certainly earned my respect. But since it's PnP, your music database needs to be immaculate; otherwise, you've a lot of tagging to do.
Know What You're Getting: A player that sounds great

Summary: This player is hands-down the best mp3 player I have used (for me). It has no equal that I am aware of on the market (for me). This player is not perfect, but it does some things very well that make it worth the price tag. It's not an iPod... the apps are limited and the UI isn't so pretty.
Summary: I've owned the Cowon J3 for almost 6 months and I can say that it perfectly does what you (and I) have bought it for: it plays music at the best you can expect from any portable player. Nothing less than perfect in this aspect.
