Summary: I just got it yesterday and it was nice until the micro card would not lock in... I tried multiple times to get it to lock in the slot and it wouldn't, so I don't think I will take the chance keeping it.. I was impressed by how good the touch screen responded but the sound distorted after going up to 38 on the volume control even with an external speaker and more than one brand too.. one red flag is all I need and for that price its not worth risking..
Summary: I have gone through many Mp3 players over the last few years, hands down this is the best. Sound is noticeably great. The screen is visible in bright daylight, and from strange angles, which is a nice bonus (i have NOT tested any video, and probably never will) 2 reasons for 4 stars out of 5: The user interface is not intuitive. It is frustrating for the first few days. Menu's are hidden, and icons don't always make sense.
Summary: Well, i won't make a long review.
Having the iPod Nano V6, SansaClip+, SansaClip Fuse, iAudio 6 and a mix of older Sony's, iPod's etc ... I think the best sounding player to me was the iAudio 6. Followed by the iAudio J3. The difference is marginally, but somehow the 6 just performed a tiny bit better to my taste.
Pros: Great sound, EQ features and options, portable, battery
Summary: *** Get the 3-year accident WARRANTY if you are thinking of buying this! *** I had this unit for 6 weeks before I dropped it onto the carpet at the gym. I didn't think it would be damaged since the screen didn't hit anything, but the screen has a spider-web fine crack in it and the unit doesn't work! Neither Amazon nor COWON will replace it due to "accident" so I've entirely wasted my money! I since find that some COWON products have easily damaged screens.
