Large capacity, but a little behind the technology times.

Excerpt: The Coby PMP-3520 appealed to me first for its 20GB capacity. Wow - I can fit a LOT of songs on there! I got it at a great bargain (retail was just under $400), brand new, but I realize now that it must have been a discontinued model. It plays movies on a 3x2" screen, records your voice, acts as a photo frame, and includes an SD/MMC card slot. Now that I've been using it for about 3 months, I'm not quite as pleased as I hoped. Not that it's a bad machine.
Summary: This is great for watching movies and listening to music for the price. Easy to hook up to a computer to drag/drop movies, pix, and photos. Once you re-name ALL the titles so they're short enough to show up on the lists, there's nothing else to do. The external speaker isn't great but a nice option to headphones. Love the portability and ease, with a screen bigger than a phone!
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Lots of Storage, Reliable Performance, Simple Controls
Summary: The Coby 20Gb media player is an all around useful product. I use it to transport large files, record movies, play movies and music. It interfaces easily with all my AV and computer equipment seemlessly! The price can't be beat and the quality is A1.
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Great Sound, Long Battery Life, Lots of Storage, Reliable Performance, Simple Controls, Sleek/Compact
Summary: This is really just a 20G portable hard drive. It only recognizes mp3 titles that are less than 15 characters-so U2-One will be recognized but The Doobie Brothers-well you get the picture-wont show up at all. If you want an mp3 player-this is NOT for you. If you want a portable storage device to hold music, photos, movies, files, programs, etc.. this is for you.
Pros: Lots of Storage, Works with Linux
Cons: Confusing Controls, Difficult to Set Up, Does not sync, Poor Instructions
