Summary: I have bought a new player MP727 8 GB. After connection to my computer it did not switch on any more. After pressing buttons it does not react and always switch off. 4 of them have the same problem. No help support.Beware.
Summary: I bought the 8 gb one and it has been my music listening source ever since the day it was delivered to me. Im gonna buy another one for my cousin who enjoys mine so much since she doesn't have one for herself. The only thing I don't like about it is that if you leave it in your pocket, the screen will start to collect dust and other materials inside. Other than that, its awsome!!!!!!
Summary: I tried just listening to the radio for the firt couple of days while walking and I really enjoyed it. When I charged it again, the screen would not light up anymore. I tried to reset, while talking to a customer service rep, but nothing happened to it. I was advised to send it in before the first 30 days were up. I reorded a new one.
Summary: Shipment came in fast and the order was what I ordered. No problem with the company that shipped. The COBY player broke once within a week, we returned it then the second COBY player broke right after the time listed for returns. DO NOT BY COBY! We are stuck with a broke gift!
Summary: After receiving the first defective one and sending it back, I received another one. It works very poorly and I would suggest that you don't buy a Colby MP3, it's a waste of money. I'm very disappointed with what I'm stuck with.Save your $ on this one.
Summary: I had this less than 4 months when it just stopped working. At the time, it was plugged into my MacBook Pro; I shut down my laptop, a message popped onto the mp3 screen - "program updating" - then after a couple of hours, it just died. Contacting Coby was not easy, so I just threw the player away. Lesson learned.
