"All flash no substance."

  • Pros: Good screen and acceptable sound. But I would suggest upgrading your headphones. If you have no brain and enjoy having the company decide how to organize your music, this is the mp3 player for you!
  • Cons: The Coby is the bic lighter of mp3 players. No flexibility, company restricted sorting only. mp3 player does not play play-lists. Seriously! Provides unsolicited poorly written media manager.

  • Pros: Screen, easy to navigate music. Nice radio. Has nNice other features (E-Books and pictures.)
  • Cons: Enter (center) button stopped working on music library screen. When you clicked on something, it went to Now Playing. The screen quality is poor. (It scratches too easily.)

"Pretty decent MP3/video player"

scottb1958, CNET
16 April 2010
  • Pros: It looks stylish without the pricetag of similar items. It's battery life is good. I had no problem adding songs or video. I followed the directions!
  • Cons: The headphones that came with it were poor. I bought different phones and the sound is good. I don't really care for the fact you need to hook up the USB cord to recharge it.

"Terrible..."

chocolate_dazr, CNET
28 February 2010
  • Pros: Variety in mp3 colours (purple, pink etc), great quality screen to watch videos and to listen to music.
  • Cons: Sometime mine doesn't reset, theres no way of getting back the media manager if you lose it or delete it, videos uploaded through different managers (like windows media) won't play, freezes frequently, some great quality songs will sound scratchy.

  • Pros: the price is not so bad
  • Cons: quality isn't good. can hear little static. I downloaded a video and it turned upside down. the quality was also not that great. there are many little white spots all over the screen and you can see many after images if you look carefully.

16 November 2009
  • Pros: Price was reasonable. Liked the idea of FM radio included and video. Picture quality reasonable for price and size
  • Cons: Had problem after only 2 weeks of it freezing inability to play audio. But after speaking with Coby tech service the problem seems to be resolved at least for now.

"Simple, easy and afordable..."

Theonetheycallpat, CNET
14 November 2009
  • Pros: Easy/simple/light weight...
  • Cons: Ear Phone are'nt that great but hey, the price was good. The battery recharing was a problem though, I don't like using USB hooked to my PC's port but I've survived...And I don't like that the screen turns off immediatly when you choose a song.
