Pros: Good screen and acceptable sound. But I would suggest upgrading your headphones. If you have no brain and enjoy having the company decide how to organize your music, this is the mp3 player for you!
Cons: The Coby is the bic lighter of mp3 players. No flexibility, company restricted sorting only. mp3 player does not play play-lists. Seriously! Provides unsolicited poorly written media manager.
Summary: I originally bought this as an inexpensive (under [$]) introductory MP3 player for my 6-yr-old... but it looks like I should have spent about $10 to $20 more bucks and bought a cheap Chinese iPod knock-off that is more easy to use.My main issues were with the way the photos display. I converted about 200 pictures that I took with my multi-megapixel camera to lower resolution pics and put them in subfolders on the device in order to access them more logically.
Pros: Great Sound, Sleek/Compact
Cons: Freezes Up, Rudimentary Menus, Slow Display of Photos
Pros: Variety in mp3 colours (purple, pink etc), great quality screen to watch videos and to listen to music.
Cons: Sometime mine doesn't reset, theres no way of getting back the media manager if you lose it or delete it, videos uploaded through different managers (like windows media) won't play, freezes frequently, some great quality songs will sound scratchy.
Summary: OK product but the software isn't easy to use. I just do the drag and drop. The actual Coby music organizer software is useless to me. The biggest annoyance is the fact it doesn't have a shuffle or random song function?? why?? I like play list type of deals and I do not like planning on each song I want manually at the gym.
Pros: Long Battery Life, Simple Controls, Sleek/Compact
