Summary: This is a great MP3 player. The best I have ever had. Lasts over a year, very durable, uses up very little battery and uses AAA which is great because you can get a AAA anywhere if your battery runs out.
Best cost-effective choice if you're tired of expensive players breaking

Summary: You know what I like most about this thing? It does exactly what I want it to do-- play my music-- without the headphones jack breaking, the buttons breaking, the battery compartment breaking or the special rechargeable battery needing replacement, the touch screen going unresponsive, the whole...
Although Coby is not known as a great brand name for quality and reliability
30 August 2014
Summary: I had a previous model for about 6 years and I drive a lot for work. Although Coby is not known as a great brand name for quality and reliability, my previous MP3 player put in about 2500-3000 hrs of use before the screen went blank (6 mos later it died completely).
Summary: (First off, Coby Electronics has shut down, so you won't be able to get software updates or any tech support should you run into a problem.) . Pros: It's small It's light It can hold a lot of music Cons: The software is buggy and nearly impossible to use (this may be a Mac compatibility problem; it...

Summary: There is not a shuffle option for this MP3 player and selecting songs can be a bit awkward at times. Sometimes you will need to toy with the volume option before they will play properly. I forgot about this little guy in my pocket one time and accidently put it through the wash.
Summary: This little thing has been great! Granted, it's a bit "old-school", insofar as it uses a AAA battery and the simple interface/screen graphics remind me of my first mp3 player from over ten years ago; but when it comes to getting the job done, it works perfectly and I've found it far superior to the...
Summary: Easy to load audio files. Good sound. Unfortunately, after about six months, it gave up the ghost. I replaced it with a 4.3" android from Odd Lots for $39. With a micro SD slot, I've got not only hundreds of songs and audio books, but loads of ebooks too. I'll never go back to a straight MP3 player.
Works but no radio and folder navigation is tricky

Summary: I accidentally purchased this model instead of the nearly identical Coby with an FM radio, bummer. But the two stars are because the folder navigation is very unintuitive and after reading the instructions you still can't avoid a bunch of button jamming.
