Summary: After several SanDisk mp3 players died not long after purchase, I decided on something without a screen, without a shuffle function, just a bare-bones player. This fit the bill. It's still going strong seven years later, and I use it every night at work.
Summary: i like the simple set up of this mp3 player powered with aaa batteries. no big problems. sometimes, it'll repeat a file it just played and i may have to manually forward until i hear the next file.it sounds pretty good.
Summary: I would not recommend that you buy this player for the original list price. I found mine for $5--a great deal for someone like me who doesn't want all the fanciness and frufu that comes with most players. I just wanted to hear my music and have something little to carry.
Summary: I bought this for my wife for her birthday. It does not work out of the box, it powers on for 2 seconds and then powers off. We tried multiple new batteries, it's just broke as is. It does work as a USB drive, it just does not play mp3's.

Summary: Like stated in another review "it was too good to be true." I paid only $20.00 as a Christmas present to myself. I couldn't download all of my files and very few of them wouldn't play. The earbuds were very uncomfortable and they didn't last long. I had to buy another set.

Summary: You know how the old saying goes 'you get what you pay for', well it applies here, let me tell you. The sound quality isn't so good, and the volume control is horrible. I haven't had much a chance to listen to it because most of the time...I CAN'T TURN THE DAMN THING ON!!
