Summary: This item was cheaply manufactured. The sound quality is bad both from the headphones and the built-in speaker. You can hardly hear or even understand what's coming out from the built-in speaker. The headphones themselves are bigger than my ears. The manual clearly stated that when the headphones is not ejected into the MP3 jack, it would autotmatically go on speaker (which I understand). THAT'S A BIG LIE. Ejected or not, music still comes out from the speaker.
Summary: This is my 1st exposure to the world of MP3. There are so few FM radio recorders to choose from so I purchased the lowest costing one. I am hooked on the benefits over casettee and CD's for listening and recording lectures. However, a month later I am searching for something that works 2 times in a row, the same way. There are so many anomalies I can't list them all. It does record voices in a room but only mine is loud enough to distinguish.
Summary: The MPC7097 is an extraordinary mp3 player for the price. I am sure that I could have gotten something much better for a lot more money but to tell you the truth, I am rather impressed, more so than disappointed. Pros: The price is unbelievable. There is absolutely everything that I would want in an MP3 player stuffed into this thing. They did a nice job of making the default ear buds also be the neck strap. Video isn't bad (screen is small but hey, it is video!
