  • Summary: It's okay to use if you don't have another MP3 player, but it's inconvenient and takes up a lot of time.

  • Summary: It's a good player but it has some problems. If you want to play your music low, it works fine. When you want the volume up, some static occurs.

  • Summary: It works, but it could be faster. The design could also be improved greatly and it's a little hard to use.

  • Summary: It's okay, once you get the hang of it. Just a little confusing getting set up. Good selection of MP3's.

  • Summary: It works pretty well right now but I had to replace it because the quality of the player wasn't very good. It would stop on it's own.

OK for Free, but not for $150!

Michael R. Sayre, Amazon
11 August 2000
  • Summary: I received this on the internet for free and am very pleased with it. Although, I can say that because I didn't have to spend the amount others did. For $150, it really isn't that wonderful of a deal. I found out 32 MB doesn't go to far for MP3's and to upgrade another 32 MB is almost another $100!

What about WMA?

Amazon Customer, Amazon
11 August 2000
  • Summary: I like this player except for one big item. It will not play WMA. But if you look at the Audiovox website it promises the ability to play WMA by the end of 2000. Just take a look at the calendar now. I have emailed Audiovox with no response at all.

Pretty Good For Its Time, But Time To Move On

Anthony J. Bufort, Amazon
11 August 2000
  • Summary: First of all, Audiovox does suck for not providing support on this model, a reasonably good MP3 player for its time. In terms of basic playback quality it is still fairly decent, but the lack of USB support, major expandability (can only go up to 64MB), and 2000/XP support make it a definite loser...

  • Summary: Worked pretty good, but it did skip sometimes. But basically my computer sucks. It was able to save lists and load them efficients. I was somewhat satisfied.
