Summary: The device works great for email, web, and light surfing. It does not play games very well due to the slower processor. Please be aware that the touchscreen is resistive and might not be what you're used to on your iPhone. I would look up the differences between the tablet screens before you order or you may be disappointed in the feel and use of the product.
Cons: It doesn't work. It runs slowly freezes, switches off, loses wifi connection, apps suddenly close or do not open. Apps choice is limited and my android smart phone has better apps. The Archos help desk has not helped.
Good for watching video, but too many negatives make it hard to use...

Summary: I have owned this item for half a year. Out of the box it got used a few days but since then it is hardly touched. It's just too painful to use. The most important issues: 1. Barely usable touchscreen. This is a resistive screen that does not respond well to gestures or even slow clear finger movement. 2. Loses network connection often. Also network speed listed is very slow even when close to the access point. 3.
Summary: I do not own one of these devices but I have had extensive experience with Archos support and there is something you should know before you order one of their products... No matter how nice their devices may seem to be. When it comes time to fix them (and they will need to be fixed) you will have a nightmare trying to get it taken care of. The support staff are rude, unhelpful, and downright liars!
