Apple iPod touch (2012)

PC Magazine
22 January 2009
  • Conclusion: Apple's beautifully redesigned iPod touch is still the leading do-it-all MP3 player, but the new $300 entry-level price might make it a tough sell.
  • Pros: Terrific design and build. Slim and light. Beautiful screen. Tremendous number of apps. Bundled EarPods are much improved.
  • Cons: Expensive. Not natively compatible with earlier models' accessories.

Review : Apple iPod Touch

8Bitjoystick.com
19 January 2009
  • Conclusion: It is the sexy grandchild of the Apple Newton and Apple Pippin except it is a hundred times better than both. It is a little weird to consider that Apple is finally successfully marketing a computer device that is an industry leader in games, and I was sooo used at them screwing up at games on my beloved Mac. There are plenty of iPhone/iPod Touch game reviews coming your way.

Apple iPod touch (2013)

PC Magazine
8 January 2009
  • Conclusion: The leading do-it-all media player offers a compelling combination of features and price at $229, as long as you're OK with 16GB of storage.
  • Pros: Even lighter than the 32GB model. Tremendous number of apps. Faster processor and bigger screen than previous budget iPod touch.
  • Cons: 16GB storage can pinch with large games or movies. No rear-facing camera. Not natively compatible with earlier models' accessories.

iPod Touch 16 GB

  • Conclusion: Even with the small complaints it is clear that the iPod Touch is a really fine MP3-player. The new touch screen interface works very well and feels natural to use pretty fast. The screen also is extremely nice and perfect for watching videos on. If you only plan on listening to music though the price for the 16 GB’s (~$330 ) is far too high compared to the other iPod’s with 80 GB or more storage.

Apple iPod Touch 8GB Review

Digitaltrends
2 December 2007
  • Conclusion: Aside from a couple minor limitations, the 16GB iPod touch is truly amazing. It’s one of those products that probably has competitors in frantic states of insomnia, burning right through their R&D budgets trying to keep up. The iPod touch is gorgeous – thinner than most media players, features a whopping 3.5″ LCD screen, holds a lot of content and is terribly easy to use.
  • Pros: Sexy design; impressive visual interface; built-in WiFi; Windows and Mac compatible
  • Cons: No expansion slot for additional memory; cannot wirelessly sync with iTunes
