Summary: Worst synching experience ever!!!! I've had IPods and Macs for decades and now I am getting nothing but headaches trying to synch up the latest iPod. I've logged scores of hours trying to fix it, spent hours of my day on the phone with Applecare and it has just been an overwhelming case of disappointment.

Summary: Within four months of purchasing this product, the home button breaks. I bought an identical iPod from Best Buy that has been working since over a year ago and it works like brand new. Yet this breaks within 4 months. And since its not more than a year old, my warranty company won't cover it and apple genius bar is anything but helpful. I only wish this broke within one month so I can return it without any of the worry.
Summary: wrong item received. when I checked with some stores and at the local apple store, I received the 4th generation ipod touch instead of the 5th generation as ordered. trice I TRIED TO RETURN THE WORNG ITEM AND COULD NOT GET AN AUTHORIZATION TO RETURN ITEM. I AM WAITING FOR A LETTER WITH THE AUTHORIZATION TO RETURN. nOT HAPPY IN NOT GETTING THE CORRECT ITEM. I HAVE SINCE ORDERED ANOTHER IPOD TOUCH 5TH OR LATEST GENERATION 64 GB ITEM.
Summary: Unfortunately the battery life is very short. Although the Ipod is turned off, the battery discharges completely. I reinitiated Ipod to test and the result is the same. I DESINSTALLED ALL PROGRAMS ON IT but the problem continue. I don't know what is going on. I think the battery is defective. What can I do?
