Do not buy this product from Amazon. It is out of warranty before you even get it.

Summary: I bought the first of these two devices a year or so ago. It recently died and will not turn on. Even though it is a discontinued model, since I liked it's form factor for exercising I bought another through Amazon. It also died recently. I just came back from the apple store where they said that they couldn't give me a new one because it was purchased in 2005. That is when Amazon purchased it, I bought it just three months ago.
Summary: I had this for about a year I think and one day the on/ off button stopped working. Thank goodness I had my other iPod ! Maybe that's why Apple discontinued this model... Over 100.00 down the drain!
Summary: Because I ordered a brand New ipod (in the plastic box as original) . What I got was a reconditioned ipod in a cardboard box with seperate headphones that are also used, not new like I purchased. The ipod only holds a charge for a couple hours, again only proving that the ipod is used and not new. Hopefully you got my point. Thank you. Amazon lied to me when they said they sent me a new ipod. Beware.
NOT new or in original packaging. Very misleading!! Is a USED product

Summary: I purchased this discontinued (by Apple) Nano because my husband wanted the smallest possible iPod for the gym. NOWHERE in the product description did it say that it was a used product. It came in a plain white box with a sticker on the bottom that says "replacement nano." I went to set it up and it had apparently already been named and paired with another iTunes account. In addition, the earphone plug is very loose and will slip out with any movement.
