Not a good investment!

ladislipper, Amazon

  • Summary: The orange nano was not as well made as the previous ones we bought from Apple. I was disappointed and knew when I gave it to my son that it wouldn't last as long...it shook a little. $150 was too much to spend for what I felt was a "copy" of my son's 3 other nanos. He really liked the style but unfortunately he has challenges that set him up as a target for theft. He lost that IPOD and the IPOD Classic (which he liked better).

  • Excerpt: I bought the iPod nano for my husband for Christmas.  It was DAYS before we were able to figure out how to put it back on "English".  The touch technology is very sensitive.  At that time we did not have the Internet, so I returned the iPod nano to the store.  I was able to exchange it for a lesser brand name mp3 player at half the cost.  When I become more technically savvy, I would again purchase the iPod nano.

  • Excerpt: recieved one for christmas last year and with in 6 months it would't work on my computer anymore, I took it in to get it looked at and I was told that the connectors have gone bad (which apparently happens quite a bit) and i could send it in to have it fixed, but that it might be almost better to just get a new one. at least it will still charge for now but thats the only upside cause I can't add any new music.

  • Excerpt: the ipod nano 4th generation is not worth the 100 some dollars you have to pay for it. i had bought my daughter, my son, and my niece a nano. According to the comercials it was the best ipod yet, so i thought i'd try it out.BIG MISTAKE. About a week after buying it, my son's nano completely froze and shut down.

  • Excerpt: I have the second generation ipod nano and it was good, but it could only play music. This is an ok product from apple. It's not like the best thing in the world, but it'll do if its just music. If I were you, i would not buy any nano and go straight for the touch. It's over priced, that's for sure. I used this everyday to school. The pros are the it's easy to use and has a long battery life. However, the battery life shortened after a few years.
