Apple iPod nano (4th generation)

PC Magazine
9 September 2008
  • Conclusion: Apple's slimmed-down, slicker-than-ever iPod nano responds to your movements, creates playlists it thinks you'll like, and makes the competition look like a bunch of clunkers.
  • Pros: Sexy, thin, rounded design. Same excellent user interface as in previous nanos. Built-in accelerometer shifts screen for horizontal viewing (like on the iPhone and iPod touch) and lets you shuffle songs by shaking the player. Genius feature creates on-the-go playlists around a single song.
  • Cons: No built-in mic—you need to upgrade earbuds to use the integrated voice recorder. Apple still hasn't upgraded those lame bundled earbuds. Watch the iPod nano (4th Gen) and touch Video Preview!

Apple iPod nano (4th Gen)

Pocket Lint
24 September 2008
  • Conclusion: The iPod has always been about design. The simple understated lines of the nano give it an elegance lacking from many competitors. Apple have focused on making the iPod desirable and it has worked, after all, it has achieved iconic status in the face of many copycats at much lower prices.
  • Pros: Design, shake to shuffle, screen is excellent
  • Cons: Price, no radio

Expert Review

AppleSource
19 September 2008
  • Conclusion: The fourth-gen Nano is the friendliest one yet, with more customisation options, a smudge-free back and a wafer-thin yet sturdy construction. Those who dug its squarish predecessor may get a bit of a shock at the layout, but it's ultimately easier to use than the third-gen release.
  • Pros: Headphones and sound quality are the same as before, Thumb can feel a bit squished, Some features require the purchase of additional accessories
  • Cons: Attractive all-in-one matte metallic design, Better menu with option to turn off graphics, Easier to operate one-handed than the third-gen model

Lyömätön musiikkisoitin

mbnet.fi
17 December 2008
Nanon musiik ...
