Apple iPod nano (4th generation)

PC Magazine
29 May 2009
  • Conclusion: Apple's slimmed-down, slicker-than-ever iPod nano responds to your movements, creates playlists it thinks you'll like, and makes the competition look like a bunch of clunkers.
  • Pros: Sexy, thin, rounded design. Same excellent user interface as in previous nanos. Built-in accelerometer shifts screen for horizontal viewing (like on the iPhone and iPod touch) and lets you shuffle songs by shaking the player. Genius feature creates on-the-go playlists around a single song.
  • Cons: No built-in mic—you need to upgrade earbuds to use the integrated voice recorder. Apple hasn't upgraded those lame bundled earbuds.

  • Conclusion: The fourth-gen Nano is the friendliest one yet, with more customisation options, a smudge-free back and a wafer-thin yet sturdy construction. Those who dug its squarish predecessor may get a bit of a shock at the layout, but it's ultimately easier to use than the third-gen release.
  • Pros: Headphones and sound quality are the same as before, Thumb can feel a bit squished, Some features require the purchase of additional accessories
  • Cons: Attractive all-in-one matte metallic design, Better menu with option to turn off graphics, Easier to operate one-handed than the third-gen model

Apple iPod Nano 4G review

Stuff.tv
19 September 2008
  • Summary: Farewell fatty. Yup, Nano 3G – AKA the iPod Classic Mini-Me – is no more. This fourth incarnation is slimmer and taller than its forebear. Indeed, with the demise of the mildly chunky 160GB Classic, heavy-boned Apple staff must surely be shifting uncomfortably in their straining office chairs. Available also, for an extra £40, in a 16GB capacity, the new Nano comes in a choice of nine colours, including the Apple Store ‘Red’ exclusive.

Apple iPod Nano Chromatic

lemondenumerique.com
30 May 2009

  • Pros: Design e peso; Tecnologia Genius; Ricarica tramite cavo USB

Nanon musiik ...
