The 4th Generation iPod Nano offers a few more features over the last generation that I think people will appreciate. The interface is great, the screen is bright and vivid and works well for pictures, videos and everything else it does. The built in accelerometer is a a nice added feature that adds another dimension to using the iPod, and makes it kind of fun to use as well. Read more
4th Gen iPod Nano — We Want Our Square Form Factor Back! Here's a hard truth: Even if Apple decided to carve its new Nano out of petrified poo and bless it with a Braille display, the interface alone would still make Cupertino's latest flash-based music player leagues better than the competition. So what's our opinion of the new Nano? Well, it's just like the old Nano, just a little roomier (fine) and shaped like an airfoil (weird). This new aerodynamic form doesn't... Read more

I received this item along with another item. i am satisfied with the products but was disappointed with the packing. the shipper used small airbags. the problem was the bags deflated and the contents were loose inside the box and subject to bumping around. my ipod had initial problems with charging then freezing up but now seems to work properly. the problems may or may not have been a result of being bounced around during shipping. This iPod has been running in my car for 5 years now, connected to an Alpine mobile media system. It never stopped working, not even in cold German winters at -20°C. That was the main reason for me to buy an iPhone 3G last year (which I didn't regret, either) and to look forward to buying an iMac later this year. I like Apple's simple and robust products. I've got the 40GB model - that's just the right size to hold all my music and to back up some personal files (in HDD... Read more
The iPod Chromatic (or nano 4th generation) is better than any previous version. With a larger screen, twice as much memory, accelerometer, new genius playlist creator, and colors that are POP'N hot, this iPods a keeper. My first iPod was the iPod nano 1st generation white. I loved it. Second I had a second generation nano in the color red. <WOW> the color was awesome with the same great features. Until 2008 I had the second generation. I had no idea what I was missing.... Read more or see product
I received this as a gift, about 20 minutes after my 2nd gen nano was pronounced dead due to a stuck hold switch (though this switch had only been used twice, and not for 6 months), and a corroded logic board (moisute entered through docking port). I was 10 minutes into researching Creative mp3 players (sturdy, virtually unbreakable. My 10 yr old Creative Nomad II still works although it has fallen more often than snow in the northeast), when the 3rd gen nano arrived.... Read more
