Summary: After my Creative Zen M died after 3 years of heavy use, it was finally time to buy a new MP3 player. Creative and Zune no longer make the large capacity players, so it was finally time to buy an iPod. This product is great so far. The cover art and songs all transferred in ok and I'm ready for some serious listening. I am not the biggest fan of the controls. Sometimes it can be cumbersome to get to where you want to go, but this is a minor complaint.
Pros: Long Battery Life, Lots of Storage, Reliable Performance, Sleek/Compact
Pros: Sleek clean finish, simple black finish adds a spice of quality to this product. Tons of space, I have had it for over 2 years and its only half full with about 3000 songs and about 35 hours of video. Good solid build, though i have only dropped it once or twice it has never broken, and it has become wet on a few occasions and new stops working. The screen quality is very good for watching movies and looking through cover art..
Cons: Silver back is annoying, i purchased a silicon case to protect the body yet the shiny back seems to still become scratched and worn. The click wheel is occasionally unresponsive and causes you to have to apply more pressure or back out and renter the menu.
Summary: The iPod Classic is pretty much the ideal product if you're serious about listening to your music. With 160 gigs you shouldn't have much of a problem loading your whole music collection onto it. You can watch movies and TV shows on it too, but even though the screen in a pretty decent size its hard to fully enjoy a movie on it.
Pros: Great Sound, Long Battery Life, Lots of Storage, Simple Controls, Sleek/Compact
Cons: Easily Scratched, Easy to lose, Expensive, Freezes Up
Summary: Good iPod. Lots of storage, but other reviews I've read confirm that the controls are not as responsive as previous models. Other than that, great sound, great battery life (from what I can gather so far), and very sleek.
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Great Sound, Long Battery Life, Lots of Storage, Simple Controls, Sleek/Compact
Summary: a geat device, dump the nasty earphones that come with it and replace with a deccent set of in ear headphones and the sound is transformed, battery life quoted is the usual apple optomistic shot in the dark and you will be hard pushed to get anywhere close to it, expect approx 4 hrs watching a movie or about 10hrs with music, but anyway generally enough to get you through a long flight.
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Great Sound, Lots of Storage, Reliable Performance, Simple Controls, Sleek/Compact
