If I could give it ZERO stars, I would. This thing SUCKS! I've had FOUR of these remotes and they've all topped working!

Summary: I've had 2 WD TV Live's, 1 WD TV Live+, and 1 WD TV Live Hub, and ordered one for like $25.00 (with s/h) direct from WD and these large remotes have ALL DIED at random. The only remote that still works since the day of purchase is the little remote for the TV Live+. I've swapped out the batteries. I've cleaned them. I've used my mobile phones camera to check and see if the lights are still flashing when the buttons are pressed and they always are...
The only drawback is that it wont play the next Aud/Vid files automaticly!

Summary: This is a wonderful product with only one drawback that I can see is "It won’t play the next Audio or Video files automatically!" The WD Mini Player will go to the next file and play it automatically! It can be used to play back video, audio, and pictures from any USB hard drive or storage device. Two USB ports are built into the device, allowing you to connect multiple hard drives simultaneously.
Summary: I purchased two of these over a year ago and I am very happy with them. I use them to play movies stored on my network-attached storage systems. There is very little that this device wouldn't play. The manual outlines allowable audio/video stream format combinations and there were only a couple of sources I came across which had a combination that the player didn't want to handle.
Summary: i bought it because my t.v. wouldn't show all of the qmovies that i had on my hard drive. i would plug it to the usb port on the t.v. and well it seems that about 30 movies wouldn't show up and some of the the movies i added wouldn't always show up. so when i bought this i was glad to see that everything showed up that was on the hard drive and was glad that i didn't have to constantly switch between the other 2 hard drives i had.
Summary: 1. This WD Media Player does NOT play the ubiquitous .flv file format. 2. It will not read from external HDD which are NTFS formatted, Fat32 is accepted. Had I known these facts, I would not have bought this device. I do not think that WD does any effort to fix these deficiencies via firmware update.

Summary: the device is more like to use and easy, it's also super practical and easy mobility, their functions are very comprehensive and I play all movies or series that I see for me is usually the best.
Summary: Well, the player obviously develops - in WD TV Live developers have cleaned the majority of problems of model WD TV. With a network, support of decoder DTS and various media the Internet-services the player became very quite good. And if still to consider, that it costs really copecks, - one of the best budgetary models in the market turns out simply.
