Caution, your awesome "regular" speakers may sound terrible

Sandra Peterson, Amazon
18 November 2014
  • Summary: We've had the stand-alone Sonos components for a year now and LOVE having music throughout the hosue. However when we added the Sonos Connect component to add our regular stereo into the mix (so we could enjoy the awesome Bose speakers and my little Paradigms I missed so much in the living room),...

This device should cost $80 max.

Konstantin Gredeskoul, Amazon
19 March 2014
  • Summary: I own several Sonos speakers, including Play 5. I wanted to connect my previous sound system to Sonos, so when I play Sonos I hear Sonos speakers + my old sound system. Turns out only Play 5 has a single output in the form of headphone jack (it's also the only speaker with a line input).

Ungood for Spotify

Michael Newton, Amazon
4 July 2013
  • Summary: I bought the Sonos Connect primarily so I could listen to Spotify wirelessly on my living room stereo. I was very dissatisfied. The 2 star rating is for MY experience - I'm not trying to judge the product overall, but the Spotify integration is an advertised main feature so I think it's fair game.

When it works it's great, but it can be very flaky

QT, Amazon
12 December 2012
  • Summary: Sometimes it's fine. Sometimes it's not. When it's not it's a pain in the royal behind. Middle of your favourite ballad, suddenly drops out. How would you feel? Album won't add to play list, had to get the CD out. How would you feel (Sonos isn't cheap after all).

Achtung Windows-Benutzer: Technik sehr gut, Softwaresupport zweifelhaft

lc, Amazon
7 November 2014
  • Summary: Technisch ist nichts einzuwenden.
