Summary: I am using Sonos differently than most people do. I have used five Sonos Connect:Amps to create a whole home audio system using built in ceiling mounted speakers. Summary: I've been looking at this amp for a while and considering how much it costs, I vetted it out for a while. My previous setup was 2 patio speakers in the backyard that I ran speaker wire to the back of my receiver into the second zone inside the house.
Truly amazing when used as part of a total Sonos solution for the house

Summary: I currently have 4 of these driving separate in-ceiling speakers in my home. Office, living, bath..... I need to buy more, and each time I order I am always surprised by how much they are. But, the product and service is phenomenal. I can't complain at all.
Connect:Amp is designed for only 1 room & 1 input.

Summary: Fantastic product but only powers a set of speakers who can only play a single input. Do not think this will allow you to have one speaker playing one song, and the other speaker playing another song. Sonos' product documentation/ capabilities is really poor.
